Boy! I hope not!!!
Having had a stroke (21 years ago, now), I've been taking an aspirin a day....just enough to thin the blood. And, it needs to be aspirin, not some of the other pain relievers. Coated aspirin, like Ectoprin (sp?) works best and less upsetting to one's stomach.

I hope, Buckeye, if it was a stroke, it was only a mild one...

He had a stroke in January and was in hospital over a month, just got home from rehab beginning of March. This one sounds bad.

Btw, was gun shopping online last night, wish MD didn’t have such strict laws.

This should be interesting. We placed a rather extensive food order of fresh produce, bread, and frozen food (except beef) at our local general store 2 miles down the road for a curbside pickup this PM. If all goes well this may become our favorite mode of shopping and save time, $, and gas.

My Costco order got delivered at 8:15 this morning, before I was awake. I didn’t know Costco was open that early, the shoppers must be able to go in early.
Got everything except 1% milk, they brought 2%. Didn’t have that listed as substitute.

Need to pick up prescription at Walmart. Already prepaid on app. Hope to use outside pickup.

Back to brush hogging today. I’ll pay more attention to not lose my phone.

I had fun making the rounds this morning, mowing the roadsides to and from the other side of the farm.
Rested a bit and headed back out. Want to try starting the old Cub Cadet and clean it up for sale.

met a nice little friend who didn't seem stressed by me being there at all, and he blended into the mulch
remarkably well. Lots of little geckos crawling around to.
Blueberries starting to get larger

Sorry to hear that. Prayers. My cousins husband had a stroke about a month ago. He is taking speech therapy.

last few times I've logged into TBN it's popped me back to 2017 for unknown reason.
Opened it up to hear Roy saying a foot of snow coming. Then I looked at the date...

Same thing just happened to me, only it was WNG showing photos of a Nash dragster he took at a car show, also in 2017. Can't imagine that car show happening in this day and age...:shocked:

Put out mulch, went to my topsoil pit and got dirt for two large planters. Now I guess it’s planting time.

Got to 32 early but quickly warmed to 59.

The curbside food pick up went without a hitch and the quality of the produce was really decent.

windy and chilly today.. worked on cutting down a tree by mailbox yesterday... using battery powered sawzall.. slow going, but the biggest branches are ~4".. still have a ways to go, lost my balance and fell, nothing broke, a few bruises.. taking it easy today.

Had virtual communion service last night, virtual prayer meeting this morning, will attend virtual church service tomorrow..

Attended a virtual birthday party for grandson that turned 3 today... was fun singing happy birthday with others on the computer (used Google Hangouts).

uh oh,

The county judge who has been ordering everyone in our county really strict stay at home orders or face a $10K fine or 6 mo, in jail has been caught violating his own order just to see his grandchild.

I took a drive today to pick up groceries for mom but turned around after seeing a very long line outside a HEB and impending rain.

Mowed back field and all of yard, back field will be yard this year barring another unfortunate incident.
Then tilled garden potato area. Since I cleaned garden some of the plastic blew off, had to restake it.

No update on FIL or sister.

I just got all song slides ready for service tomorrow.

Got my meds earlier using Walmart pharmacy drive up, pneumatic tube like a bank. Paying in the app didn’t work, had to send cc in. Wiped all off with sanitizer after, and wore gloves.
Got drivethru at chick FIL a. They still using people outside, with cloth masks, to take orders. They should be using speakers right now, why put people in danger? Noticed the kid taking orders was putting his face down too close to person ahead of me, so I put my n95 mask on. Then a different girl took my order and stood back, let me swipe cc.

Another few hours brushhogging. No incidents today. Maybe thanks to my new tractor accessory.



I listen to Amazon Prime music while mowing. I also see it on the watch, but the app is only on my iphone so don’t know if it would work at distance.
