I recommend postponing any non essential dental or medical procedures.

Yep, I had a dental appointment next week, and my dentist sent out an email a couple of days ago cancelling such things as routine teeth cleaning, and optional procedures. We decided to cancel mine for now and they said to call if I have any pain and they'll take care of it.

My wife and I both ordered new eye glasses last Saturday; supposed to be ready next week. But the lady called just now to say they're closing the office for at least 2 weeks. She said when our new glasses arrive, she'll call to ask if we want to wait, or if we'd like them to just mail the new glasses to us.

Since I use distilled water in my CPAP machine, I visited 3 Walmarts this past week and none of them had any distilled water. So today I visited a Kroger grocery store for a couple of other things and they, too, had no distilled water. So I went on south the Highland Village Walmart; no distilled water. I was not optimistic, but went on to the old Lewisville Walmart, and they had plenty.:cool2:

a warm 87 degrees out, long shower felt good after being out in pollen all day, though mowing roadsides in the cab was nice.
Think I'll barbecue some salmon burgers for dinner. But I think a nice cold beer is going to hit the spot first.
Lawn is starting to green up, will really green when rain comes tomorrow. Been pretty dry here; a real sneeze fest with the pollen.
But don't sneeze in the supermarket...

Might take slow country drive later today if dirt roads aren't to muddy other than that play it by ear.

Enjoy evening all.

Good morning! 58˚F raining.
Got the census in the mail yesterday and was surprised to see no mail back envelope and no questions on it, only a web site and a special identification number. When the ID number is put in the website my address comes up and then a few questions.
I think my mom got a different version she said her's had questions.
So, which version did you get?

Eric The net few days a lot of test will be conducted and I expect the numbers will rise.

Hawkeye congratulations on your retirement! Enjoy your last day.

You will know when the world is back to normal when Toilet Paper stays on the shelf more than 24 hours.

"You will know when the world is back to normal when Toilet Paper stays on the shelf more than 24 hours"

When "the rent" comes due, at the end of the month, there will be plenty of TP at all the store return desks.

RNG, you are getting pretty good with the drone! Are you considering those mandatory upgrades yet?
After watching the video a second time... I saw that little flinch towards the end when it was landing.... a little too close for comfort?

Thanks, Ted. The automation built into the Mini make flying it pretty easy. But I have almost zero depth perception, and the drone was in the process of landing itself out in the dirt because the battery was depleted. I overrode it with the controls, and it happened to be aimed pretty much at me at the time it was coming in. A little too close for comfort, even with the propeller guards on.

I was not optimistic, but went on to the old Lewisville Walmart, and they had plenty.:cool2:

Stopped once in Lewisville on the way home from Ft. Hood several years ago. Ate at a place called Fat Cow BBQ. Absolutely delicious.

Also accidentally bought a revolver over the internet from a guy in Lewisville ... but that's a whole nuther story.

RNG- Great flight with the music to go along. I gave you a thumbs up. I started to watch here and switched to YT and noticed that with the YT editing there was a deterioration in video quality. Nice views of your property.:cool Thanks for sharing. I need to figure out which (free editor) that I used for editing.

Thanks, Jay! There's a little gear looking icon in the lower right window frame of the YouTube video viewer, and if you click that, there's an option that will let you increase the video resolution. I've been uploading in 1080P for the last month or so, and if you're getting crappy video, check that setting.

Ted- RNG probably remembered my post about the guy who fatally scalped himself.;)

Fatally scalped himself?! I'm gonna start wearing a helmet while I'm flyin'!

Took a spin this afternoon through a couple of the corona virus threads. Wow. #5 just got shut down, and it's no mystery at all why. Certainly glad this thread doesn't have those civility problems.

Called Home Depot this morning and asked if they could have the concrete bags loaded on a pallet, ready for pickup with the rest of the items I'd ordered earlier. Guy on the other end of the line got all confused and thought I wanted to buy a full pallet of concrete. Finally got him to understand I just wanted a pallet of 37 bags loaded and ready to go. That didn't seem to be a problem, but then again it wasn't ready when I got there, either. I spent the time waiting cutting the 20' sticks of rebar in half with a pair of bolt cutters. Then the guys with the forklift tried to shove a full pallet of 64 bags in the back, which would probably have broken the rear axle. Then they wanted to charge me for the pallet, but the guy at the service desk told me there would be no charge. Maybe I should sell my HD stock, too.:confused2:

Before that, I hit a Raley's grocery store to pick up some salad mixin's and whatever else looked good. They had a small bulk foods isle, and I hit a jackpot of lentils, both green and red. And also Quaker rolled oats. Not much else, as there were no paper products at all, and even the meat department was pretty slim pickin's.

Very light traffic on the roads, and I think most people are taking the governor's advice to stay home. I hope I can stay here for another two weeks without having to make any more HD/town runs. Nirvana! 'Cept when I just checked, I've only got one roll of Bounty left. Sure enough, it's "currently unavailable" at Amazon, and prices on what other brands they still have are jacked up outrageously.:muttering:

Put the little bottle of hand sanitizer in my jacket pocket when I got out of the truck at each stop, and used some before I dug my keys out when I left. Then when I got home, I used a bleach wipe on all the truck locks and steering wheel and other controls. Still no confirmed CV cases in this county, but I figure you can't be too safe.
