I started the day early in anticipation of the PV tech crew arriving ~8:00AM. The thermometer had been stuck on a breezy 21ºF most of the morning. 23ºF presently with mixed clouds/sun and still breezy with maintained wind 20mph gusting to 30mph. The pre-dawn windchill walking the dog was in the middle single digits. All the last weather system's rain ending with some snow/graupel really slicked up the existing ice/snowpack. Yesterday I had visions of Brogen sliding down some of steeper slopes on my hill and taking me down with him.

Yesterday's walk in my woods revealed I have extensive tree damage, dropped limbs/branches, and downed trees some snapped half way up their trunks from the last and past ice/snow/wind events.
Eric- I like your attitude regarding pandemics. One guy showed up as planned; the other with the needed parts was hung up in traffic 2 hours out = they will be both back ~11:00AM. This should be a quick fix We'll see.
As it relates to the COVID-19 virus I will continue to maintain my normal hand washing and universal precaution routines. I値l mostly likely take my final bake and shake due to pneumonia. Living in fear is not living. I already had a peak at the hereafter; what happens happens.
I am appreciating all the project pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Billy- I have not seen a woodcock mating flight in many years. This area was prime Ruffed Grouse and woodcock territory. I hope that our efforts and the abutting land trust's efforts to bring them back works.
BEF- Thanks for the update on your FIL. 15 years after my first BOOP episode I still have ongoing auto-immune/immune challenges and am still prone to catching contagious æ¾±ugs.
I hope that everyone is having a decent Friday and + plans for the weekend.
My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
