Poured second cup of coffee. 21° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 50° with lots of sun. Last day of sun. Back more normal winter clouds tomorrow. Did take a short walk yesterday in shirt sleeves. GD is coming to clean house today. Got blade welding fixture done yesterday. But while looking for something yesterday I found 3 blades stuck in back corner of a cabinet for my metal cutting band saw. So rush to weld some blades together.

Looking, when I look at some of the mail and package carrier cost. It's my thought that we subsidizing the cheap deals that all the carriers worked out with Amazon and other online sellers.

Buckeye, grapple looks good.

Pete 35, :welcome: to Good Morning !!!

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

good morning all.
Clear cold morning, 26 going to 60 today in sunshine.
My 70 dollar Amazon special noise cancelling headphones have worked pretty well, but always wondered how
much better the Sony's could be for four times the cost. They are supposed to work better than Bose. I think they are priced for wealthy businessmen flying, not for us on our tractors...

Bill, that's a lot more expensive than here. I think I paid 16 dollars for a Fedex delivery.

not sure what I'll be doing today but certainly includes watering plants in greenhouse. I find that very relaxing.

Good morning. It's a warm 54° this morning. Looks like it will be overcast all day and get to about 68° this afternoon.

Winds stayed light yesterday so .. another burn pile lit.

Before;

30 minutes .. after ignition.

I pushed it into more compact pile, with tractor, so it should just be a pile of ash this morning.

Headphones? I bought a set of Bose QC15's in 2009 when they came out. I used them only for flying which was a lot and they stayed in my travel backpack. After I retired I forgot all about them until I accompanied Patricia on one of her business trips to NYC. I pulled them out, on the plane and they no workee. Assumed it was the AAA battery so I used a pair of Beats ear buds instead. When we returned, I opened up the battery compartment to replace the battery and found lots of corrosion around the battery. Oops! Took them down to the shop and cleaned out the corrosion only to find the tiny, tiny wire to the battery terminal had corroded in two. Set them aside for a rainy day to figure out of to disassemble and replace wire. That very week, Amazon had one of their "deal of the day" offers. I got a set of Sony WH-CH700N Wireless Bluetooth Noise Canceling Over the Ear Headphones and $100 off. $98 and free Prime shipping. . I listened WNG's Good, Bad, Ugly on them. Excellent!

Sony WH-CH700N Wireless Bluetooth Noise Canceling Over the Ear Headphones with Alexa Voice Control - Black Amazon.com: Sony WH-CH7N Wireless Bluetooth Noise Canceling Over the Ear Headphones with Alexa Voice Control – Black: Electronics

I bought a set of 3M Worktunes AM / FM / BT for mowing on the zero turn. Tractors both have cabs and AM / FM / BT radios.

Did you know? If the ear muffs go bad on the Worktunes, 3M will send you new ones .. free! Snap old ones off .. snap new ones on.

Plan for this morning is to take care of another burn pile before the rains come tomorrow. I'm hoping to quit early and catch the last hour or so of the 6 hour Lone Star Le Mans at the Circuit of the America's in Austin. It's from Noon till 6 p.m. and should be on the Motor Trend Channel (Dish 246). We follow the Corvette Racing C8.R cars in LMGT Class.

Ron .. I like your blade fixture. Hope you post more pics some time. Does the plate with X, behind the blade clamp handles, serve a purpose?

WNG .. your GBU music got me searching for my sound track CDs from those movies. Good stuff! Did the Danish orchestra do the music for the movie originally?

Hope everyone has a nice a Sunday.

Prayers to all.

Rick, I don't think the Danish did the original movie...the old DVD box I have says Music by Ennio Morricone. Probably used an Italian symphony. Maybe RNG can look at the credits when he finishes watching. But the Danish National has recorded a number of movie scores, including For a Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars, and Star Trek, for example.

Finished for a cup of coffee. Time for a second. The weather is going to be nice up here today. Sunny, and going up to about 40°F this afternoon. Time to get all the rest of the snow off the deck, and put the motion detector spotlights on the corner of the garage that I have been meaning to for a few years now. Then get to the basement. SWMBO says our daughter wants to use the basement as her cottage when she gets married and comes up with her future hubby and offspring. Better get moving, because all I have right now is insulation and polythene on the outer walls! (OK, I have also framed in two bedrooms and a bathroom and a utility room. And some wiring.)
