Good evening! Got up to 77 today. Watching the last of the golfers and waiting to see if the sun is golden on the creek trees. So far it has not happened again.

The procurer of the garden tractor beat me to the tractor yesterday by 1 minute so I operated the gator all morning. Lesson learned - early bird gets the tractor.

My 6th cousin in Germany really liked my tractor when he visited 6 years ago and got an antique tractor for his 16 birthday. This week he got a good hay ride trailer to pull. Now I have to figure how to post the pic he sent. his parents got married on our farm. We arranged a Texas wedding in a week.

This just in. We can blame Texas for this one:

3:55 PM EST Sunday 16 February 2020
Special weather statement in effect for:

North Bay - Powassan - Mattawa
West Nipissing - French River

Snowstorm on the way beginning Monday night.

A low pressure system will emerge from Texas and track towards the Great Lakes on Monday. This low will bring an area of snow with it, reaching areas near Lake Superior Monday evening, then spreading east to the Quebec border by Tuesday morning,

Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are expected, with locally higher amounts possible. *10 cm = 4" +/- 20cm=7.9"

The snow will move out of the area by Tuesday evening as the low pressure area crosses Central or Eastern Ontario into Quebec.

Good evening all. 43F for the start, fog, calm wind. Fog lifted mid-morning, Wind became light to moderate, sky mostly clear, high temp was 74F. Choir sang at chapel this morning, wife took nap instead of breakfast, and I mostly conserved energy for rest of day except for Scooter's walk.
Kyle, don't know about your neck of the woods, but we have some cold weather showing up next week, the low one night forecast for 27F. Good luck with the potatoes.
Buckeye, thanks for the explanation. I started with 9 inch floppies, time share main frames, 10 cpi teletypes, punch cards, Basic, Fortran. Finished writing progress querys. Did not get to play with FPGA at all although would likely work well with CNC machine controls, and some other automation work got into. prayers for FIL.
Drew have fun mowing, glad to hear you are cleaning house, will make easier sale and move.
Buppies good luck on your search, wife makes a mean pimento cheese, just hasn't made it in 20 years used hand grinder powered by me:eek:
Roy prayers for your neighbor.
Ron gland cable and internet back, NASCAR didn't get very far.
Thomas bald eagles are way cool
Rick sorry to hear about your friend.
RNG sorry about gun show, hope you get your agenda done.
Thomas sorry about getting stuck, sometimes hard to press on when you wonder what will break next? :confused3:
Don he must be jealous of all the time you are getting :D nice tractor
prayers for all.

Had good morning but the afternoon not so good, while pushing back snow banks tractor sent me warning ground was icy and I didn't heed the warning :( next think I knew tractor slide into the foot ditch wasn't frozen, between rear tire back blade pine caught  couldn't remove the back blade, also small maple hit front light lens broke it :( sooo tomorrow off the Kubota dealer for new lens $$$'s,after 2+ hours shoveling and using come along tractor was free :) think I just set in recliner and numb it the rest of the day.

Sounds like days when I bent fenders and trees/rocks ganged up on me. And yes, Kubota thinks an awful lot about the worth of their parts! But maybe it helps to think about what it would take with a shovel to get done what you did on your tractor?

32 right now...dropping to 27 as today's high...another cold snap coming through.
I didn't get to see my neighbor yesterday. She'd left to get her hair chopped off as the latest meds was causing it to fall out. Hopefully, I can see here this afternoon...

Looks like about 5" of snow tomorrow...
