Good evening all. 34F for the start, partly cloudy sky, moderate wind. Wind backed off later in the day, sky cleared off and high temp was 42F. Cold front came through early this morning, so tomorrow will be colder and warmer than today :confused2: . Forgot to check rain gauge, probably not much in it maybe .1 inch. Slow start today, putter till go furnuture shopping and Costco run, wife found her new couches, they are on order, Had two items on Costco list, got cart load :confused3:. Did fill up at 1.95/gal while there. After trip got bike ride in, really had to get full output out of cold muscles.

Ron, nice cardinal pic, Scooter got "dumped" here tonight, Stepdaughter and boyfriend are now both on road, By the time he works out stepdaughter is not coming back this weekend, he will be in a bad mood!!

RNG dull blades are the bane of sawing, we would trash a blade if it would not feed fast enough without breaking. The blade would lose way too much cutting speed before showing dull. sounds like a lot of good news

Good morning all. Only half the usual number of sheep to check on today, the others left yesterday, in good time for their lambs to be born in the dry at a friend's farm. I better start clearing out the 3 dry concrete pens I have for when they start to return. Dusting with lime can wait in the vain hope that the wind will eventually tire of it's games and leave us alone. We are not doing too bad though, just 3 tired old hawthorns uprooted so far.

.. looking out my office window, I see the Canadian geese in the field across the road.. only 6 or so. The pheasants and quail have been plentiful also.

What a great office ! Sorry to hear of those injuries to your wife's father and sister.

Drew, admire the way you never moan or claim life's unfair, you just get on with living it :thumbsup:

Thomas, that fox is down a hole. If it had Corona virus or been poisoned, now only the worms will be complaining.

LS, the things you do to get more tractor time. I once left long scrapes along a public road when I pulled out of a farmyard with a counter balance still down. Ooops. :ashamed: I learned my lesson - to round off the corners, ready for the next time.

23 here going to 30. Yesterday was another heavy wet 3 or 4 inch snow mess. Tried to plow some of the grass driveway and just made a mess. Glad I got the walk and concrete cleaned up as that would of made a large frozen rut.. I miss the old straight dry snow we used to get.
Hope everyone is on the mend. Sad about the car accident hope they get better! Glad for the good news from the rest of you. Off to get ready for work.

Hot coffee is very warming. -4 ｰF with clear skies this morning. Heading to 20 ｰF with lots of sun. Got a little over 2" of snow yesterday. Plowed that and accumulation from the last few days in afternoon. Sassy is feeling much better today. But does not like the cold outside. Grocery shopping today. Then back home and stay warm.

Buppies, hope the biopsies come back negative.

Drew, the GM team has got your back on this.

Mostly, hope scooter enjoys his stay. Shih Tzus always think new people are the best.

RNG, my son reminded me that he helped do the cellar floor when he was 16. Still a big job to get done in one day with a mixer. He will be 57 in a couple of months.

good morning all. Much cooler weather has come in, more seasonal, 45 going up to 53 today, dry for several days.

Buckeye, good news.
Eric, thank you, I do moan, but I don't whine...hopefully a small amount of medical info will help others.

Ted, that's going to look really nice when you are done. What kind of finish will you use?
I hope to get back to woodworking at next home. Small stuff like birdhouses, make great
xmas presents.

The carryall on the back of my little Massey has twice dug a nasty rut in the lawn when the hydraulics dropped, not enough friction in lever.
After second time I got smart and moved the end stop much further up.
Not only do you make a big mess but then you have to clean it up.
And for sure some choice words berating oneself... I believe mine were Oh Fudge.
