Late to the dance today, had an echocardiogram this morning and then went with Ellen to buy a vehicle to replace her little KIA Soul. She settled on a ruby red Edge titanium. Lots of bells and whistles, even the hands free tailgate, I can see that being handy. Some of the stuff is just gadgets of course. If she likes this one as well as I did my 2011 Limited, she will enjoy it.

Hope all with ailments are getting better. Drew, Sadamo, you sure are busy folks.
Weather was sunny and mild early, then later cool and breezy. 44 now, some really cold air for a couple of days, then back to 50s.

Got some research to do tonight, have a good one.
Prayers for all.

I have a question for all the REAL concrete kings out there.

What's the biggest pad you would pour of you didn't have anyone to help you?

10' x 12'?

5' x 12'?

5' x 6'?

There's an outfit that will sell a cubic yard of concrete in a trailer, sort of like a miniature concrete truck.

The whole 10' x 12' pad, 5" deep, needs almost 2 yards, so it makes sense to do two 5' x 12' pours, along the lines that Ted did for his son's new garage. Just trying to get a feel if that's reasonable to tackle on my own...

Morning guys. I thought I’d stop in and say hi. I’ve been pretty busy with my parents, and honestly have felt overwhelmed. I’ll try to catch up over the next couple of days.

Have a good one!

Welcome back. It’s tough taking care of parents.

9'X18' The workshop at the end of my garage. My dad (80 at the time) help a little and the cement truck driver also helped a little so he could hurry and leave. I used a 4' float that I found on crags list. Still have it. I would feel comfortable doing a 5'X12' by myself.
