I always needed a second person (wife) with the transit.

That's one of the nice things about the laser level. It came with a remote control so that the operator can run it solo. There's a way to get it to project a plane of light at an angle from the horizontal, but darned if I can figure it out from the instructions that came with it. There's probably a Youtube video out there that shows how, but so far I haven't found the need.

Got new remote. Installed. It works. Going to be some comfortable nights sleeping.

Welcome back Irv, very nice to hear from you, wishing you the best with parents.

planted two trays of flowers, and then washed the big tractor. That really wore me out so came in and took a nap.
forecast for tomorrow a warm 79 degrees with thunderstorms and winds up to 40mph.

Spring flowers coming out.
wonder what critter smashed into my fence with enough force to bend that heavy metal.

35F starting to over cast storm arriving early morning.

Got everything done I wanted to even took advantage of warm weather change oil and filter in pickup.
While backing around corner of the driveway good thing I was paying attention or we might be having hot turkey sandwiches for dinner young jake to his sweet time walking up the driveway to feeder.
Not plan for the evening other than numbing it.

Irv. good to hear from you. I had both my parents in the hospital at the same time and both needed a lot of supervision for 6 months. It is not an easy job and no one else can do it. It's hard to enjoy the time with them when it's stressful, hope everything settles down for you soon.

Having a new dish tonight made with my garden fennel bulb with beans and peppers over mashed potatoes, sure smells good.

We had 3" of rain last night.
