Good Morning!!!! 50F @ 4:45AM. Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 62F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.
The last storm moved on late yesterday afternoon, leaving 1.15" of rain and partly cloudy skies behind. Nice sunset, but the little campfire will probably be the last one for the while. I didn't tarp over the pile of short ends that accumulated last summer while I was bucking firewood, and now it's all too wet to burn. Same with the two burn piles, but it looks like we've got ten days of dry weather headed our way, and there are now freebie HF tarps on both of them. Better late than never?

The other day when I was loading the solar array parts into the shipping container, I turned on the laser level and noticed that one corner was off by a quarter inch. So that's job 1 today, followed by some elevation measurements for the solar array post locations. I'm also hoping to hear back that I was able to snag that last generator, and maybe get a ship date for it if I'm lucky.

Good morning All. 34 right now after a low of 31. Headed to ~40 with mostly cloudy conditions today. Vet appointment for puppy this morning for last shots for awhile, cardiologist check up for wifey, followed by lunch and bulk store supplies replenishment will consume most of the day. Hope everyone has a good start to their week! Prayers for those in need.

Pretty day but cool early, going to 52 later. Drives, that looks like pigs or skunks digging those holes.
I have smaller areas in the spring near the back of my property that skunks dig up looking for worms and such.

And now this. Not likely to find Human Breast Milk in the dairy case at WalMart, or even Whole Foods, eh?

You know, when you think of it, wouldn't it make more sense to drink human milk than milk meant for the babies of other species with different nutritional needs? Why is milk from only vegan animals acceptable? Of course why would adults even need to drink baby's milk no matter from what mammal. Thoughts to ponder early in the morning.

If one only did things proven to be safe and healthy, one would lead a very dull life. We wouldn’t drive, fly or boat, certainly not ski, drink alcohol, and we would live in asteroid resistant shelters.

Drank both cups of coffee earlier this morning. 31° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 33° with cloudy skies. We are stuck in Ground Hog day loop until next week. Maybe a couple specs of sun along the way. House is clean. Spent morning trying to get auto spooling of documents on my HP printer. Appears I loaded wrong software for my printer. Got it working again. Wanted to scan docuemnts I got a Dr office last week. Short trip into town to drop off a copy of documents. No other plans today.
Stupid deer was back at burning bush again last night. Now is up in garden trimming house side of shrub.
I am sorry about Mr Bryant and his daughter. But what about the other 7 people. May they RIP.
My plan for food is keep doing it in moderation. No sure how long that will last. The older I get. The harder it is to select food that I can prepare and eat.
Die Happy? My wish is for it to happen without suffering.

Good morning. It’s 54° and very foggy here with expectations of 70° this afternoon. Looks like the fog will be with us for a while today.

Sad about Koby, daughter and others.

I’ve worked to make small changes to my diet, over past 15 years, no added salt, reduction in fried foods (air fryer), etc. My portion sizes have just shrunk in recent years ... I can feel “full” eating half of what I ate years ago. I quit carbonated sodas about 5 years ago. Retirement and not being tempted by great food all over the world, has made the biggest difference IMHO.

Drives ... it looks like the grass sod never really took root in the base material and was very easy to move around. Like others, I’m skeptical about that being raccoon damage.

Don ... your point about milk sources makes sense ... I never thought about it that way?

Randy ... I can’t recall ever having Italian Wedding Soup. What’s in it?
