46° headed to 56° today, heavy rain moving in tonight. I’m going to try and move some old shingles from their current spot and bury them in the old former trash pile that’s on county property. Yes, I’m a bad boy. LOL

I haven’t done much this week, so I’ll try to make up for it today.

A mostly sunny 22コF for today痴 low temperature; 36コF and mostly sunny; and I anticipate a partly mostly sunny afternoon ~ 40コF. One reason I walk the dog early AM is to avoid the sun痴 glare off the snow/icepack. Today I miscalculated the timing and did not have my sunglasses. Between the soft cataracts and today痴 sun痴 glare am dealing with snowblindedness. which seems to be worsening.

套 I don稚 care if the people I associate with know where I am.? Randy Nowadays I do not care. I will sometimes blackout a pictured license plate if I remember. This is one of my few internet social sites that I will post on. I felt differently years ago when I was threatened by quite a few PO壇 mental health patients/clients either for my role in getting them committed, incarcerated, and/or denied (吐ree? governmental $ entitlement handouts.

BBL :(

ALL: the SEATTLE DRIZZLE is again happening here, but it's a great day cause i've been married to my dream girl for now 32 years. she came with a 10 & 12 year old and then we had a little girl (31 now) and twins (boy/girl and 29) so it's been a ride.

speaking of rides i may not own a tractor at the moment, but I did ride on my gramps lap on a D9 just like this almost 60 years during the summer when i'd go up in the mountains and he's make new logging roads to his job site.

hope you all have a great day!!

Happy Belated Anniversary! My friend said when a man marries a woman with kids, it's called "Instant Family". :) All kids are better off with a good father.

I thought I’d get a comment from Randy about finding his place on google maps,
Will search for LS next, but they won’t show all that new gravel on google for a couple years.
I’ve found Dons old house ( his new place will be hard to find until he makes another compass)
Found RNG, Drew, Obed, BreakHeartOrchard, Dave in Maine? that quit tbn, the house in the woods build just south of BHO, probably a few more but I forget. I like looking at maps.

I like looking at maps too. A LOT!

Good morning. Fogless at last !

Drew, hold a quart of water for an hour ! You have my sympathy. I promise I won't make matters worse by including a link to the website that offers "A guide on how to tie knots for every occasion" :)

I was figuring he should take a radiator hose clamp. Would hate to have a knot that needs a pocket knife to undue :) Drew, glad you're better.

Drew I have never heard them called tiles. In Texas we call them culverts. Kyle, Rick do you use the term tile?

I never had heard of tiles until online here at TBN. I still call them culverts.

My son is much better...Prednisone. He looked like a red spotted cheetah. One thing is certain, when you go to the clinic, and you tell them allergic reaction/hives, they put you in front of the line. We still don't know what caused it. One guy at work (who is a qualified MD in Pakistan) asked if he'd been handling wood/bark/plants...and the light went off in my head that he has been bringing in the firewood and starting a fire in the house since Monday... He also had eaten some of my wife's home made Soy protein cookie bars.

He was eager to get back to school today, he has morning chess practice today. He's going to compete with other kids from other schools in our district. Maybe next week or early February.

The sun is shining brightly. The dog and I are basking. Me, with my black windbreaker to absorb the most I can. 36F going to 64F

J- glad Peg is on the mend. Stay warm.

RNG, sorry about your shipping fiasco. I have a tough time turning down "projects" too. And far worse, I have less time and motivation to finish the one's I have. I still have that nice Yanmar L100 10 hp diesel, connected to a 28v DC genny, not sure what to do with it. Was hoping to find a 10 hp gasoline genset with a bad motor, that I could rob the genset from....

Also have so many other projects, I don't know where to start. I tell myself I'm saving them for retirement, but the reality is, I'll probably work until I can't.

We call them culverts, but have seen the term tile a lot on tbn, probably from the days they were made of clay tiles.

Here tiles are usually drain tiles that have holes all around them, but some do call culverts, tiles as well.
