weather worriers pretty sure we have snow coming in tonight
cold out now, 17 going up to 41 today with rain coming in first, then changing over to snow tonight.
probably not enough to bring snowblower out but if we get 3", then worth it.
going to stay cold til Wednesday so whatever comes down will stick

I need to run downtown and pick up a prescription and buy my winning one billion dollar Powerball.

Normal storm snow expected + lake effect … with possible accumulations of 3 to 8 inches …

Productive evening on the overnight shift.

Continued cleaning/organizing.

All shelving on the north wall unloaded and shelves moved.

Cracks all sealed.

Three 4 x 8 sheets of polyisocyanate foam board cut to length, glued up, and braced.

Needs a 16” wide piece at either end and the foam board on that wall will be done.

Should have enough adhesive left to finish that up later today.

About time to examine the inside of my eyelids now though.

Coffee has been poured into cup. 26° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 15° with cloudy skies with west winds. Picked up my new sunglasses in town. Traffic was backed up on way to town. So I stopped at got car wash done. The stopped at local park and got a couple of yearly passes for Christmas gifts. Last stop was Walmart. When I got home did conserve energy. Today will be Conserve Energy again.

Buckeye, best feature at Sam's Club is Scan and Go.

I was up from 1 to around 4 am. I can't seem to get much more than 3-4 hrs of sleep at a time right now

So Dennis, what’s the prognosis on your shoulder ? You can’t keep that up forever . My prostrate gets me up every 3 1/2 to 4 hours. My right shoulder is much better than it was, but I’m still not doing pushups
Is this what we get for all our deck work this past summer ?

We got married at local Catholic Church. 1962. My dad in middle. I think there was 6 people at wedding. We spent about $100. We drove to Niagara Falls for Honeymoon. I am sure it was the greatest day in her life. She kept me for over 57 years. No need to spend $$$$$$$ to have a good Marriage.

Ct, 18 to start going to 36, so technically warmer than yesterday, but I’m not sure I can tell the difference

Yesterday Kathleen went over to her friends later in the morning. That gave me a chance to go out in the yard and play with my radio antennas. I put a 80 meter dipole up, basically running north to south. I managed to get the ends up about 70 ft, although it droops in the center down to 55 or 60 ft above ground level. This dipole will handle 1 KW, as opposed to my other dipole that will only accept about 300 watts. I’m pretty pleased with this height, I managed to get it up that high with my air powered launcher, fishing weight and 30 lb test. Then I attach the fishing line to 3/16 mastrant antenna line, ultra strong. So I did all this while Kathleen was gone, because she thinks I’m crazy already

Today, I may take a ride over to the radio club for another Christmas get together. And tonite my youngest son and daughter in law are throwing a cocktail party down the street, so we are getting Riley , their 1 1/2 year old black lab. Boy does he have energy. Our cat Meg is not going to like that one bit

Scotty, is a 80 meter dipole really that big (long/tall)? Anyway, getting something up 70 feet is quite the accomplishment. Enjoy Riley the black Lab...you'll want to get one after that!

Ron, great wedding photo...simple weddings are the best. We got married in my wife's church, and small reception down the road at the Moose Lodge. Then went backpacking in the Smoky Mountains for part of our honeymoon and got snowed on.

We cut our CHRISTmas tree yesterday and I put it up...still need to decorate it today.

25 this morning. May actually touch 60 today. Then the deep freeze moves in

Spent yesterday on Macbook and made my son's phone and watch my own. Figuring out IOs a little at a time. Biggest problem is everything is pretty much backwards to Windows.
Got tired of trying to figure out what my wife did to her phone. She zooms a lot and always has problems so I ordered her Christmas present Thursday and gave it to her yesterday. New laptop. Spent time with her setting it up last night and she is a happy camper. She wouldn't have bought it for herself.
Started on the last .22 and it's the worse of the 3 I have been working on. Found out vinegar works but too well. Took some finish off the first one. I have it disassemble and soaking in a bit of oil now. May get back to it today but there is also a Christmas gathering we may attend later. I'll wait and see what my wife would like to do.

I rode for many years. Last bike was a twin cam Nightrain. Man made an illegal left turn across five lanes of traffic. Barely had time to hit my breaks. Broke my pelvis and kept me out of work for too long. Laying in the road he didn't even come to check on me. Gave it up that day!

motorcycles usually lose out in encounters
some of you have sure gotten hurt on them
guy across the street is local police officer who for last twenty years has been
severely crippled when he hit a deer head on at night. Broke much of his body and he walks
like a jerky marionette. He can't drive anything now.

you are five times more likely to get hurt in a motorcycle accident vs cars and if you do
you are 28 times more likely to get killed. Chilling numbers for a very fun sport.
