Good morning!!!!

Good morning,
temp here is 30°F and going to a high of 34. Wind E 8 mph. 60% chance of flurries.

The grocery store in town had utility grade ducks on sale for $2.99/lb. I sent junior into the store to get 2. There were none in the cooler, so the girl in charge of that section went to the cooler and grabbed 2 of the more expensive ducks and relabeled them as the cheaper ducks. BONUS!

I am going to wash the Dodge today and that will be the week done.

Regarding the amount of water I drink/day, I go through about 2 quarts/day. Summertime when I am working and sweating I guzzle a lot more.

If you want to figure out where I am via google maps/google earth, I don't care. As long as you remember that I don't take kindly to unexpected company. I have run other unexpected people off this place in the past, and I have no problem doing it again.

Have a safe day all

Anyone care to identify the place and put up the corresponding what3word satelite pic ? (if anyone wants to play without loading the app, the clue is that driveits may see this - if his fog has also lifted).

Well, maybe I'm dense, but I just wasted fifteen minutes trying to find a what3words interface that works on a web site. Apparently it only works in an app that runs on a smart phone. That's a non-starter for me because I just deplore having to type anything using those tiny keyboards, and voice recognition will have a field day with "menagerie.effervescence.Mississippi".

Your grocery store sells DUCKS?!? I haven't seen that since last time I was in Chinatown! And now I find there's such a thing as a utility grade duck! I guess I've led a sheltered life!:confused3::laughing:

Utility grade birds might be missing a wing (totally useless) or a leg. They put them on sale in honour of Chinese New Year. They sell gooses and rabbits, too. All of them undressed and gutted.

If you’re worried about your photos revealing your location, on iPhone 11 go to
Settings>privacy>LocationServices>Camera and set to never.
Every app has the ability to get your location.

It’s on by default.
I checked several posted pics in this thread and none had location data. None of my pics contained location data.

Exploring maps is a hobby of mine. Although I have found several peoples houses, I have never revealed their locations. If you’re worried about people finding where you live, be careful about what you post. A couple people have given their road name.

Maybe I’ll stick to looking for Rick’s dermatologist

While I know that a lot of people seem to be obsessive about their location and that is their business,
I'm not overly concerned about it myself.
It wasn't that long ago that your full name and address was in the phone book with your phone number.
Myself I was an elected Town Councilman for many years, my phone number and address were public information.

35 high of 41 raining now upwards of two inches

As Lou said when phone books were prevalent everybody knew where you were not a big deal to me

Prayers for all

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 34ー with rain this morning. Heading to 36ー with continued rain. Got lenses for glasses replaced yesterday. No more rattling when I walk. Dr visit was OK. Waiting for visit with GI Dr. For some reason Dr. office claims they have not got any info from previous Dr's office. I called the office and they had all reports ready for me to pick up in 1/2 hour. I got that and a MRI disk yesterday afternoon. Made another Dr appointment. This getting older can be a real pain some days.
Only thing on my list today is grocery shopping. Then conserve energy.

Rick, just what my son needs. Another 260 hp to wear rear tires off. :D

LS, great pictures.

Don, I guess I am going to slowly turn to dust. I only drink about 60 oz of water a day for my 170 lbs. Gave up running between kitchen sink and bathroom.

Buppies, stay warm.

RNG, like you i worry about giving out exact location on internet because we spent as much as 6 months away from home. But in 15 years of doing it alarm never went off one time. I still keep the info off internet as best as I can. My new camera has GPS. It is shut off. Same with iPhone's.

Good Morning All.

l
True. But we did not have Google Maps to zero into the address.
In case anyone thinks they are anonymous. Type your name into a Google search and see what comes up.

Yeah Baby.
Too many of us turning into geezers. :D

Thanks all for healthy thoughts.
Am pleased I am feeling better this morning than in a long time, and my labs came in last night(marvelous you can see this on line)
and with one exception everything was back in range, and even my glucose was under 100 which I haven't seen in a long time.
Getting dehydrated is sure not good for you...

ENT doc who started all these problems now suggest I drive three hours to Chapel Hill to UNC hearing clinic there.
The joys of living in the boonies...
24/7 thud thud thud in my ear.
If the noise is coming from within, like from blood vessels, hard for me to understand how hearing aid would help me but I'm sure someone would like
to charge me five grand to find out. Do they offer return/money back deals from credible places, if it doesn't work at all?

I've had a hard line and a listed phone number all life. Last few decades that was mostly due to central station alarms plus I wanted a non electronic device that would continue to work if power went off. 600 bucks a year, seems pretty steep for a phone with only local service; no long distance as on cell.

Hope you all have a nice day.
