So, just a heads up.... beware of anything from GOOGLE SHOPPING Thanks for letting me rant....

AFAICT, Google Shopping is nothing more than an automated google search for whatever criteria you typed in across retailers known by google. If you have problems with a transaction, it needs to be addressed with the retailer, not with Google. Just like their maps where they'll show you a road that is actually a boat ramp. It's up to you to decide to drive down it or not.

But in my experience, those google searches often turn up the best pricing. You just have to do some due diligence to make sure that whatever shows up in your browser is current and active.

Good morning. On Tuesday I booked my wife's car into the Toyota garage to get the battery replaced. Got there only to find they didn't have the correct size in stock. I could moan about incompetence, the waste of a gallon or two of fuel and loosing 2 1/2 hours of my life, but in truth I quite enjoyed the drive over, the people couldn't have been more apologetic and at least I came back with a free key fob battery.

drivesitfar, hope it won't be too long before you are able to make the transition to a larger plot. In the meantime, that looks like a really nice place to live

Sodamo, I can well understand you not wanting to go to the beach too often - for a concrete addict, seeing all that sand just waiting to be turned into another slab must be torture :D

Good morning, the temp here is a chilly -14°F and the high will be on the plus side of zero at 7. Wind NW 2 mph. Sunny.

I have a question for you hydraulic experts; Can I put teflon tape on hydraulic fittings?

Have a good day all

Good morning! Winter returns after after what seems like several weeks of mild weather. We are going to have our coldest weather since before Christmas over the next several days. 24 now, maybe get to 33 later. Snow, freezing rain tonight into tomorrow.

L4N - nothing wrong using Teflon tape on pipe thread fittings in a hydraulic system. Just leave the last thread or so clear to reduce chance of the tape flaking off into the system. Straight threads should not need tape, should have some sort of O-ring seal with straight thread.

The trip to FL went well. 219 riders signed up. Lots of good racing. We got the new bike working fairly quickly and had a good weekend. Some heat race wins, made the Amateur Dash for Cash, 2 podiums, 2 4ths.

This one is for RNG, I have a Lucas dynamo to rebuild this weekend. Wish me luck!

Everyone have a safe and good weekend

Up and moving, grandson is staying today. 32-37 today and still breezy.

Ellen is coming down with some upper respiratory junk, I have to be very careful over the next few months.
I also cut my lower leg yesterday so I have to watch for cellulitis.
Not a great day for such but I guess it’s gonna happen.

Good day guys, prayers.

Good morning all. 35 degrees this morning, much colder, and while still a little queasy headed off this morning.
Have to go to tire shop early, went to check air in tires and two of the rears would not show a reading on gauge nor would they take air. They have the extensions on the dual wheels and it seems like it wasn't put back together again properly. Not going anywhere until they fix that for sure.
Primary doc emailed me last night and said liver function somewhat improved. Drinking a lot of water but a number of labs are still alarming High.

lot of details leaving house for two weeks, double walk through to make sure plugs are pulled. I set the heat on 64. Next door neighbor will pick up mail and check on things.
I had wanted to get the dormant spray on the orchard before I left but will have to wait until I get back.

have an hour or two to kill before I'm off, two hour drive to Fayetteville, off 95, easy drive and good test of the rv and me.
hope you all have a good day.
