Good morning!!!!

thanks guys. Six hours in ER today, another head CT, lots of labs. While I'm headed to primary tomorrow, felt crummy enough this morning I just had to go.
What is seriously strange is the symptoms point to thyroid, but TSH test today, after four consecutive rising numbers, was half the last score and totally normal.
Just makes no sense. But now I can plan on leaving Friday and being safe.
Gosh I need a nap, almost no sleep last night.

onward...

A bit worrisome, Drew. Hope you find a recovering solution soon.

daugen; you need to get your health straightened out BEFORE you go galivanting all over the U.S. of A.

buppies; do you get the impression that we are nagging you? You need to get checked out and x-rays.

What looked like a couple of inches from the kitchen window at 4 in the morning, very quickly turned into 10" with drifts.
Took me 4.5 hours to clean up my place and 3 neighbours. Really it was 4 hours plowing and half an hour greasing. I grease it every time I plow.

Buppies looks like lots of good advice given worth a little of your time to get checked.
Drew have you noticed once over 60 we start to feel sick when ever there is something to do or some where to go. Quick recovery

Drew if I remember correctly the Dr diagnosed your chest pain and arm numbness to your nerve damage. May just be a shot in the dark with out knowing what type of damage you have but a drop in blood pressure can also be caused by injury to central nervous system, spinal cord, it's called neurogenic shock. Just wondering if there has been any new injury or degeneration to your spine. Just a thought. Neurogenic shock can also be caused by meds.

Good evening all. 31F for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Sky stayed clear, wind hit 13-20, and high temp was 53F. Chapel to start day, stepdaughter had passed on some doughnut for breakfast, restarted fire in insert, went for bike ride early afternoon, then watch football.
Buppies sounds serious, please get it checked out. The CEO of Volagi bicycle was in an accident with car, did not get checked out and was found unconscious at his desk, and never fully recovered (swelling in cranium)
Bill, I love it when the bugs get zapped by winter, wouldn't hurt my feeling if mistletoe got zapped either.
Phil glad update is positive.
RNG CD tray on my computer has a depression for the 3.1 inch disc. If you CD tray has one it should handle the small size.
DABSGT hope the wife gets better soon.
Ted we have a lot of wind here lately, plays havoc climbing hills on a bike with a stiff headwind :(
David hope the guys do well at cards
Randy, nice job.
Drew, are you eating oats? Last year physical my thyroid hormone had been going up, had been eat a lot of Cheerios, now eating more grape nut and shredded wheat, and hormone back to normal. Hope Dr get to bottom of symptoms.
prayers for all.

I hope the doctors figure out what's going on, Drew!

Good morning, forecast predicts I have 3 hours before the rain comes, plenty of time to fill the hay racks, collect firewood and check the mole traps. I feel a little bad about turning into a serial killer  These moles won't listen to reason though, so I need to get their numbers right down before they start to breed in March. I bought half a dozen more "Talpex" (made in the Netherlands) traps as they are the most humane - as longer as you keep your fingers clear.

Drew, hope you can get back to "normal" soon

Bups, you got to get yourself checked over. They may not be able to help with the pain, but at least we will feel better once we know how many ribs you cracked or whatever other damage has been done. I will be thinking of you when I reset the traps ... :)

Thomas, hope the deer have responded to a good talking to and don't go troubling your neighbours again. Incredible, although being the patient nice guy that you are, I'm sure you will try and educate these people gently - hopefully before your bears go visiting.

Drew, I remember one of the test they gave my wife was for parathyroid. It will mimic some of the symptoms she had. Has nothing to do with thyroid. Just close to thyroid glands. A type of xray is needed to see it. It affects the amount of calcium in your body. Not calcium levels in blood. To test for it a 24 hour urine sample is needed. Good luck with Dr visit today.

Buppies, hope you are feeling better today.

Thomas, if your neighbors cannot handle deer. What are they going to do when Boo Boo visits?

Eric, Talpex mole trap. Does not look any more humane than my spike driven mole traps. Whatever gets rid of them.

Good Morning All.

48 going to 64, and chance of a shower.

Eric, those Talpex look pretty awesome. Hope they do the trick. Are you feeding the dead ones to the vultures or hawks?

All, hope you feel better today.

DABSGT, nice looking chicken soup.

Watched most of the Houston-KC game...what a huge swing from the wild beginning.

Yesterday was 70F, so I washed the truck...was so dirty, took 2 hours. I think I saw it smile when I was finished.

Good Morning!!!! 45F @ 3:45AM. Cloudy this morning with showers during the afternoon. High 53F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Overnight we picked up 0.14" of rain, forecast is for more tonight. It came down as snow to the north and east. A buddy of mine and his wife are trying to get down here in their motorhome before the passes in the Siskyous close; They're starting in Washington state near Port Townsend.

Another buddy of mine crashed his motorcycle on the freeway several years ago. He was banged up, but the EMTs let a friend take him home. Another friend dropped by later, saw that something was wrong, and got him to a hospital. He was suffering from internal bleeding, and would likely have died in his sleep. Hope your doctor doesn't find anything too serious, Buppies.

Reviewed the fuel injection section of my Subaru Haynes manual, and tried the new scanning DVM out on a fuel injector lead to see if it could pick up the firing pulse. No luck; it's just not fast enough at only 4 samples per second. The next page gave diagnostics for the Idle Air Control Valve, and it failed. It's an expensive part, but worth every penny if that's been the problem all along.

Also got the new windshield installed on the touring bike, and found the wrench that I'd dropped down inside the fairing the day the old one broke. The new shield doesn't obscure the rear view mirrors, but it might be a tad too tall. Looking forward to a little test ride, but not until it stops raining.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!
