Good morning!!!!

Drinking first cup of coffee. 43ー with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 45ー with rain in pm. Spent some time cleaning up dog droppings that I have missed over the last few week. Nice clean place for the dog again. Latest forecast call for rain accumulation up to 3" in next 3 days. That should wash away any stuff I missed. New top link cylinder came yesterday. Will be a much easier install on tractor than making adapters for old cylinder.
Grocery shopping and Dr appointment today.

Eric, got a picture of Luna yesterday morning. GD and I traded pictures yesterday of Luna's. She will be 1 month old tomorrow. I do not have taking pictures of moon mastered yet.

David, root canal for Sophie, hope she feels better.

Drew, hope you are feeling better today.

LS, good leveling job.

Jay, be careful outside even with the crampons on.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

An iPhone 8 is now in my near future.

That's the one I would buy also. I would like to wait to see if they come out with the iPhone SE2 but no one knows for sure if it will be out in March or if at all.

Good morning! 67˚F cloudy, temps will vary little today and chances of rain increase to 90% by 5pm as a cold front nears which should put us back in the 40's tomorrow.

LS good dirt work!

35 going to 50 and cloudy, just like Buppies.

Mostly, that's a lot of work to go bike riding, but then again you aren't riding just a bike if you can go over 6000 miles.

Ron, great pic of Luna...she glows just like the moon.

Just finished looking through a couple of thousands of pix from 4 trail cams. I swapped out cards yesterday down in southeastern Virginia and did some chain saw work on a new trail. Was glad that I only had one pic of a pair of coyotes. Last year there was a den that I found and I was getting pix of them nearly everyday. In November I had moved one cam to overlook an area where there is a small tree that had fallen on the ground. Nearly every night 1 to 3 raccoons would walk the length of it, and then one to 2 squirrels would do the same the next day...like clockwork.

My chainsaw is tired, so I might give it a rest today, and watch a movie :).

good morning all.
Not doing too well this morning, headed off to primary doc's in an hour and then likely most of day in hospital cardiac unit.
But I got all my baking done for garden club this morning, so I don't have to worry about that. Just have to drop all the muffins and brownies at the club meeting, then headed to primary, who will likely ship me right off to hospital. I packed a bag, laptop, wifi, underwear... Hopefully they won't find anything. The last year has been pretty hard on me, for a guy who rarely gets sick. I'm not used to it and living alone makes it all worse. Taking a thumping and keeping on humping. Have to make every day a good one.

Meeting with realtors went fine. They want to list it now, of course, told them May when I get back from rv trip West. Apparently this is a buyer beware state and they are telling me not to be at showings because I volunteer too much info, a full disclosure guy that gives realtors the willies.

Drew sorry to hear you are still not feeling 100%. One thing I learned last week when I pushed 30 heavy wheelbarrows of dirt there was no pain until 60 hours later when it peaked (sore neck muscles). Getting is old is no fun when your body delays reporting over use. I hope your symptoms are just the delayed soreness or inflammation from the moving boxes. You packed wifi?

23F cloudy chance of sprinkle this morning mid 30's for high, the wolf moon sure brighten things up last night could see long ways.

Outside chore done E muffin time. :licking:
Okay...as they say you just can't make this s..t up :confused2: about 5pm we got phone call from the new neighbors down the road that move from Newark New Jersey saying our animals are lose standing beside the road also in the woods and they have inform police department of the danger,I took slow stroll down the driveway sure enough I counted 7 deer which cross the road headed towards the side field, once I return to the house Mrs. said police department call but she made it clear we had no animals and they were deer and someone needs to talk to ever complaint and show them pictures....I guess this evening I'll need to have set down with the critters and have talk.

Plans for today...get critter food, remove snow from house roof since going to rain etc. this weekend than see what happens.

Enjoy the day all.

Good morning. It's a balmy 70° here this morning with 15 mph winds. Our high will be about 75° and storms forecast for evening hours. High winds are expected so, I need to securely the patio furniture this afternoon. We got about 1/4" of much needed rain yesterday.

As scattered showers are expected most of the day, in advance of the storms today's plan remains fluid.

Drew ... hope Docs give you some good news. Take realtors advice and offer up nothing to potential buyers.

Ron ... nice Lunas pictures! Where did you buy your new top link cylinder. Check valve? All mine are from Brian, at Fitz-Rite in Cali.

Eric ... wife and I had Samsung phones and iPads for years but, switched phones to iPhone 8 Plus when they came out. The common platforms are great.

LS ... very nice grading work. The more you do it ... the better you'll get.

WNG ... "My chainsaw is tired". I never thought of using that excuse. Good one!

Hope everyone has a great Friday and weekend.

Prayers to all.

Thomas you need to come here and talk to YOUR animals. They are running amuck through the streets.

Thomas, that was hilarious!!! Pathetic, but hilarious!!!

911, what’s your emergency?
Deer, my neighbor’s deer are out again.

Drew, hope all is well.

Saw on FB

Need to know where the starter fluid goes??

View attachment 636296

The old timers that taught me said it went on the gears to keep 'em lubricated.

These days I make sure to use the "lubed for life" starters so I don't have to mess around with the fluid anymore.

Except for getting stubborn tire beads to seat; I keep a can of starter fluid around still just for that...

53°F and rain this morning, going up to 61° today.

Stopped at Tractor Supply in Carlyle on the way home from work yesterday - actually, about 25 miles past home - to pick up chicken feed. It rained lightly here and there, and the skies were kind enough to wait until I was loading the feed into the barn to really open up. Got it all mixed and ready to go, then sat in the barn for about 20 minutes while a rather active storm cell passed over us. Really loud in a metal pole barn. Not to mention the "thrill" of opening and closing the door on a big metal building in an electrical storm. Exhilarating.

Nice prep work, Ted.

Hope you can get your animals in order, Thomas. Don't want to give your new neighbors a poor perception of country living.

   / Good morning!!!! #104,775
Thomas, control those critters or else!
Up to 47 after a low of 26. High to 62 after 38 yesterday. Looks like 4-5 days of warmth before winter comes back.

I was able to walk my garbage wheeler to the road yesterday for the first time in over a year.
I’ve lost around 10 lbs recently and I feel good. Wng my brother lives just north of Elizabeth City and recent trail cam pics have turned up red wolves where coyotes use to be.

Going to install my non skid on the tractor step as soon as it arrives.

Drew, hope all works out positive for you.

Good day and prayers to all.

Prayers for you Drew. Hope they figure out what's up, and can help you. Try to relax, read or something to help avoid the anxiety. It only makes it worse.

Wng, you can borrow one of our chainsaws. :)

I have a spare smaller set of Oxyacetylene bottles, cart, regulators, and a cutting torch (I'm going to sell if anyone's interested). I need to get new hoses for the setup first.

Need to go get a haircut, car inspection, new auto license sticker. Quick way to spend a $100 bucks.

Good Morning!!!! 40F @ 6:30AM. Some clouds this morning will give way to generally sunny skies for the afternoon. High 54F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.

Hoping you get good news at the doctor's office, Drew, and glad you're getting that numbness checked out.

Sounds to me like somebody needs to have a talk with the new neighbors about minding their own darn business, Thomas.:muttering:

Nice work, Ted. What's your secret?

The gal from environmental services came out yesterday, and we spent some time making measurements to find safe locations for the electrical trench and solar panel array posts. She left satisfied I wouldn't be punching any holes in the leach lines, and in the afternoon my building permit was approved. Time to get busy placing orders and getting a fire going under the solar power contractor!

Called my neighbor that will drill the 6' deep post holes, and he's down with the flu. Sounds like he's swallowed a frog, but there's plenty of time for him to recover before I'll have everything needed for those holes.

Visited with my other neighbor that has the trencher, and made some measurements of it to help lay out the trench path. His wife raises goats, and she said there were over thirty new babies this past year. They'd sold most of them, and said it was more work than it was worth, so she's reducing their numbers to just what their land/brush can support.

Ended the day with another campfire, feeding it old medical insurance statements. Most of those envelopes remained unopened, and the fire caused the plastic windows in them to shrivel up in a most peculiar way.:confused2: Gonna call 'em today and see if I can go electronic for the statements and save the waste of paper.

While I was out there, I listened to the new album from The Who. Some of the lyrics are loaded with nostalgia, not surprising from guys in their 70s. Even better, their voices and playing are still great; if you're a Who fan, it's worth checking out.

TGIF gang!:drink:
