Yes I noticed that also but is that the tri valve you got replaced? Was the procedure the same and what did they do with your old valve?

The old valve actually helps hold the new one in place.

trivial to mild aortic insufficiency

that sounds pretty good to me, if I'm reading it right... Slow and steady Randy.

I have two rv campgrounds to call today who promised me email confirmations and they never showed up.
Made a lot of reservations yesterday, got the Florida trip booked up to Fort Meyers and will do the return from there
when I get to first friend's home in Delray Beach. And a lot of them charge for one night stay right away.

Looks like an inch or so of snow. Road looks ok from the house view. All traffic shows green on google, so everyone decided to either take off or go in late. Guess I should get a moo move on.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

“Leaving your vacation destination a better place when you leave it, a true Doctor.”- Don. Don thanks for the procedure video and thanks; I truly appreciate your post. For the record, I am not a Dr. In the world of Psy. D’s and Ph.D.’s I could be best described as a Sergeant Major in military terms. I have the training and certifications but would not put up with the academic psycho-political BS and @r$ekissing required for a couple of extra letters after my name and chose instead in doing real work with real people. Despite a rather poor choice on my part as to career decisions, the MA Board of Retirement considers me to be a psychologist. I am more proud of the fact that I am classified with MA State Police as to retirement benefits.

Randy- I have avoided the valve comments, but have enjoyed the others’ posts. :D. All I care about is that you return to a better level of functioning sooner than later.

Ted- Nice work.

Drew- I hope that the wrapping, splinting, and exercises help with your foot challenges.

Jim- Thanks for the laugh and I am glad Christmas gifts were “evenly” divided with your Boss.:cool:

RonJH- Thanks for the feeder pics. I wonder what shape mine will be in when we get home tomorrow.

Bill- Thanks for the laugh. Medicinal swill must be like my medicinal martinis. ;)

Starting the long goodbyes to Villa Caletas and the staff there. I gave them a “hard time” last night after I saw “VIP” next our dinner reservations. We all had a good laugh. Who’s VIP?

It was a great time here; only a couple of incidents with entitled, “ugly” Americans giving the staff a hard time.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Hopefully I’ll be posting later,

Good morning. It’s 72° and looks like the temperature will start to fall now... going down to 36° overnight.

Looks like a work in the shop day today with rains and cold. I need to come up with a parking stand for my new 3-point adapter plate for FEL.

Randy ... glad you’re doing so well! Just take it easy and don’t rush your recovery.

Jay ... safe travels ... on your way home.

LS ... nice progress on your canopy ... you appreciate it when summer returns to NM. Are you going to paint it blue, to match your tractor?

Ron ... nice bird pics.

Hope everyone has a great start to your week.

Prayers to all.

Cold front arrived here at 9:20 a.m. I was in pasture in a T-shirt. Headed back for a long sleeve shirt.

Good Morning!!!! 44F @ 7:30AM. Sunny. High 57F. Winds light and variable.

That canopy looks like it was made for your LS, Ted. Is that a kit anyone can buy, or a one off you put together yourself? If the latter, perhaps you've stumbled onto a new business idea. I could be your first customer...

I'm udderly disappointed to hear you've incorporated bovine parts instead of porcine, Randy. And thanks for the write up; that thing Don posted blew up my browser, twice...

Good to learn that the foot's coming around, Drew, and that the new doctor knows his stuff. Do any of the campgrounds you've reserved have criteria for age and condition of the motorhomes they accept?

The ugly Americans just make you'n'Peg look all that much better in the eyes of the staff, Jay. Actions speak louder than words, whether that be doctor, psychologist, or tourist.

Fun story, Jim. Did the Boss take the route in bad weather at other times of the year, too?:confused2:

Got the emergency brake warning light fixed, turned out to be dirty contacts at the switch and in the bulb holder. The seat belt warning light is in the same module, and responded to the same treatment, after I figured out that the special relay that powered it was missing from the fuse panel. Got out the bag of extra relays, put each one's number into google, and eventually IDed the proper one. And now I know I have spares for the turn signal and what the rest of them are for as well. But as soon as I plugged in the seat belt warning relay, it started buzzing, as it also serves as an open door warning. And even with doors shut and seatbelt engaged, the warning lamp wouldn't go out. So now I know why the relay was in the extras bag to start with, and why I don't feel bad for pulling it back out and leaving it there.

Day before yesterday's Idle Air Control Valve calibration procedure didn't make any difference in the van's cold start problem, so if I get time today I'll see about replacing the water temperature sensor. With more help from google, I found out where it's mounted, and a fair number of things need to be removed to get to it. The other possibility is the fuel pressure regulator, and with a new fuel pressure tester in hand, I might tackle that first. It's an opportunity rich environment.

Anybody else notice an increase in the amount of junk email this season? Another reason to celebrate the New Year when the gift giving season passes.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a healthy start!
