Bird and Mostly did you get snow?

No snow here, Don. I got about .49" of rain; about half before midnight and half after midnight last night and all over before 5 a.m.

Eating lunch at mission bbq. Their theme is military, police and fire, and they play the national anthem at noon, everyone stops and stands for it.

LOL, Thomas teasing us time card punchers. ;)

Ron, your place always looks nice. Randy's "backgrass" looks great after slashing.

Rick, where ya been?

J- pack some warm air to take home.

Don, phone finding by night. Needle in a haystack....apple in the brush...

Checking In:

I am driving a brand new Suzuki mid sized SUV; I would have preferred a rental with at least a few dingers; this vehicle is in pristine shape:( We arrived at Villa Caletas without incident which will be our base of operations. On our way we discovered that the "Man eating crocodiles of the Tarcoles River" has become a real tourist trap unlike the time before when I posted pictures. :(

I am enjoying the Christmas pictures you have all posted. I do not know where the VC staff got it, but they are putting up a Christmas tree today.

Randy- Your deforestation and subsequent park setting project is awesome.

Thomas- I recently purchased an Olympus TGE-6 which is waterproof down to 50' and has decent video capabilities. I'll bet playing with it this week. It has more capabilities and functions than I can comprehend at present.

RNG- Everything we have travel-wise is black and we are always losing stuff in plain sight so now I have an aqua colored daypack and Wifey has a plaid suitcase for starters.

Ted- I am sorry to read that your Christmas lighting put more strain on Mr. Knee. That iguana may be Paco the resident iguana or at least it's offspring. I'lll be hanging with him at cocktail hour (sunset) at the amphitheater later today. I will leave our bags outside to freeze when we get back home just in case we acquired some CR critters.

I/We appreciate the + wishes.

Time to take a swim in the infinity pool overlooking the Pacific ~1000' feet below.

Jay, have fun, looks marvelous there.

got home from switching phones, 160 bucks to buy a compatible flip phone that will work for the future, neither of mine were supported past next January.
Went out to wash Audi, looked inside, there was Apple phone on passenger side rear floor, even though I stuck my hand way under there it was clearly in a hidden zone, and it slid out promptly after paying 40 bucks for transfer plus the phone. I still like the old one better.

More rain coming in tonight. Strangely warm out, soon to get colder.
hawkeye, hope your wife keeps improving.

Ron nice home and Christmas tree.
Jay great view enjoy the warm weather the cold will be waiting for you.
I found the broken wire on the snowblower this afternoon was only able to do a temparery repair couldn't find soldering iron, or heat gun. By the time I found soldering iron it started to rain and found out that my daughter's boyfriend borrowed heat gun and forgot to return it.
Picked up decorations and delivered to cemetery.

23ーF and clear skies this morning, going up to 35ー today. Chilly.

Wngsprd, we typically use half a can of moist cat food in the live traps. An old egg works, too. Had a more favorable wind last night, so I went out armed ... which meant no skunk, of course.

Thanks. That's the problem I'm having, too, plus one miss, I'm embarrassed to say.
