57 going to 63. Had to take my jacket off walking outside this morning...so warm...and snow tomorrow morning is forecasted.

Randy, real nice looking yard, and praying for your surgery success.

PJ, I'm still dealing with our skunks. What are you using for bait in your trap? I may go that route, too.

Mostly, did you already achieve 6K? I can't remember.

Drinking second cup of coffee. 31° with light snow falling. Heading to 32° with snow ending in morning. Got my Christmas shopping done yesterday. Now I need to wrap and get them in mail. After I make a visit to credit union I am moving all my accounts too. My Christmas looks good from the road.

Randy, while it may be a inconvenience to take the antibiotics. I think it is a good thing they found the staph. Prayers that all goes well from here on out. Nice pictures.

Buckeye, glad first day back to work went well. To many aggressive and not paying attention drivers out there. We all need to drive defensively.

Hawkeye, glad you wife is feeling better. Sure hope works goes your way.

PJ, after letting dogs in yesterday morning. A skunk shows up at the bird feeders. Glad I got dogs into house before it showed up. I did not know skunks like bird food. I guess you will eat anything when you are hungry.

Looking, you need to use an appointment app on your phone or computer. Glad it worked out OK.

Jay, enjoy your warm trip.

LS, nice lights.

Roy, good audit. Good Day.

Good Morning All.

me too...still haven't found my cell phone, so off to Verizon shortly to activate my old flip phone again.
They have done this at least twice for me...thankfully I usually find the missing item but why I need two pairs of everything.
Found my missing regular glasses inside the bucket of my grapple. Sooner or later I find out where they were hidden unintentionally.
I'm going to make sure the ringer is on from now on, always used to call the phone to find out where it was. But with ringer off,
up the creek with no paddle.
Great tree Ron.
Toppop, the word that came to mind to me when seeing the one area is glade. Nice job.
Hope the procedure is totally successful and lots of prayers behind that. Just watch the bugs...

warm and cloudy day, weather is definitely turning wetter.

23°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 35° today. Chilly.

Wngsprd, we typically use half a can of moist cat food in the live traps. An old egg works, too. Had a more favorable wind last night, so I went out armed ... which meant no skunk, of course.

Good Morning!!!! 45F @ 5:45AM. Partly cloudy skies this morning will become overcast during the afternoon. High 57F. Winds light and variable.

I was told to shower with antibiotic soap for a couple days preceding my most recent procedure, Randy. Can't be too careful when they break the skin, especially in a place so full of germs. Nice lookin' yard, you worked your butt off to get it that way.

Hope you guys figure out how to skunk the skunks.

I'm gettin' worse at that kind of stunt, Bill. Always have to make sure to put appointments on my calendar with alarms 2 days, 1 day, and 2 hours before. And always get the receptionist to write it down on a card, if I'm making 'em in the doctor's office.

If the missus wants compact, Thomas, take a look at the GoPro cameras. Small, light, and very rugged. They have optional remotes, or you can run them from your smart phone. Careful, though, as they'll eat up space on your hard drive pretty quickly.

Glad you had a smooth trip down to CR, Jay. Hope those monkeys don't monkey with you and the missus too much!

Nice Christmas lights, guys. Keep them pichers comin'.

No adjustment needed on the valves on the touring bike yesterday, just like I like it. Ran great on the test ride, but the new headlight bulb, I'm not so sure about. Seems like the beams are reversed, as the low beam pattern is a small spot, and the high beam much broader. But they both point at the same place.:confused2: Not sure how I could have put it in upside down, but anything's possible, especially these days. More head scratching needed. New tire I ordered almost two weeks ago from Reno should'a been here in two days, but they used LostTrack, er, OnTrack. They sent it to Arizona, then to Sacramento, where it's been sitting. In the past I've been told by OnTrack that they don't deliver to my address, and once had to meet a driver in Oroville to make a pickup. Contacted the shipper, who started a trace, but also told me it should arrive today. I'm not holdin' my breath.:muttering:

Have a good 'un...

55 now heading to 60 with rain today cold moving in late today and rean turning to snow overnight. Will be waking up to 3 to 4 inches predicted.
LS nice job on the lights reminds me of the year ladder slid on the ice and I ended up in the tree. Wife's response "now you have to do the tree again." Never asked if I broke anything.
Randy you will be up and running after your procedure, prayers.
I often misplace things and end up getting another but what's worse is stopping by one of the kids houses and spotting the missing item, oh I borrowed it and forgot to bring it back they say.

Misplaced my phone just last week. Find My app didn't work because the battery went dead. Found it on the kitchen counter in plain site, right where I left it. Black phone on a black counter...:banghead:

If I keep goin' the way I've been, I'll have two pairs of everything pretty soon, too, Drew. Last time I found my chainsaw hard hat in the bucket, it was after I crushed it with the 4-in-1. It always hurt my head anyways, and was replaced by one from Husqvarna. Then I inherited one just like it from my mom's boyfriend, so I guess I'm covered in that department for a while.:confused2::laughing:

Good morning to all! Low of 28, going up to 45 today. No more precipitation forecast until next Sunday, hopefully.

That may give us a chance to get the roof on the garage project. I bet the mud will dry out just as we finish....

Jay, glad you made it to C.R. without a glitch..... wait....what is that lurking behind you looking at your bags....

DABSGT(David) , been there...done that... (at least the wifey did not see). She was wondering why I suddenly started to repair the gutters right in the middle of putting up lights.... to this day she still does not know....I am definitely more careful now than I was back then.

Paul, hope you can come to a quick agreement with ‘ Mr stinky ‘. One that will be in your favor!

Kyle, thanks for the + thoughts for the home, definitely a lot of adjustments have been made since the downsizing. Very ‘ quaint ‘ , but comfortable.

Drew, you will find the phone as soon as you return home....sitting in the most obvious place.

Ron, I like the lights on the tree. Very nice. How tall is it ? How do you get the lights put on the top ?

RNG, I am SOOOO glad we do not have OnTrack here. My son had similar issues as you when he was up in Washington State. Amazing they stay in business.

My other ( middle ) son / family are coming over tonight to celebrate his birthday with a nice dinner wifey has started preparing already.... pulled pork and homemade pierogies...both favorites.

Need to get moving here.... many things to do...not enough time...not enough energy ....

Everyone have a great day! Prayers sent out.

Good morning! 39 and raining. The car is in the car hospital getting a new bumper cover and Randy will probably be home before it is.

Ron I also was wondering how you got the lights on top. I could only reach halfway up on my tree with a ladder and notched stick and since it turned out round instead of pointy I can’t call it a Christmas tree.

Drew when I lost my phone with the ringer off somewhere on 3 miles of trails I waited till sunset and called it looking for light. I found it after making calls every 50’.

Bird and Mostly did you get snow?

RNG, I am SOOOO glad we do not have OnTrack here. My son had similar issues as you when he was up in Washington State. Amazing they stay in business.

I asked the shipper if they could put a note in my file to not use OnTrack, and was told the only way to not use OnTrack was to pay for expedited shipping. I told them there are lots of places to buy motorcycle tires that offer free shipping with a legitimate carrier, and that Rocky Mountain ATV was the last place I'd ever buy another one.

My late wife bought me a new $300 8’ ladder about 10-12 years ago. I set it up under a maple that needed trimming. I climbed up to the firs limb and sawed it off, it whipped around like it was spring loaded and crushed my new ladder and sent me about 5’ to the ground flat on my butt. Only things injured were pride and ladders.

Happy to hear of your progress. Hope the job comes back smooth. I meant to ask about your go kart? Fast? or just a play toy?

30F this morning, all warm and cozy with propane stove heating the house.. Granddaughter at the doctor this morning to see if they can figure out her itching and hives.. They thought it was antibiotic but she finished that more than 2 weeks ago now, they didn't want her taking any benedryl or anything for 5 days before the appt. She had a very itchy day yesterday, did not have itches this morning before they left to go to doc.. just our luck she won't have any symptoms and they won't figure it out..

My wife is doing better each day, she finished the antibiotics for the pneumonia. She has a follow up in a week or so.

We're borrowing a freezer from daughter to hold the 1/2 beef we bought, it is hanging at butchers now, will be cut and wrapped after hanging 10 days or so, then they will want us to come and get it right away.. we don't have room in the 2 freezers we have but don't have enough beef to last until next Dec.
