Back home from Ohio. Would have liked to stay longer, but there’s a winter storm watch for tomorrow in the mountains. I drove the last hour, about my limit right now.

Dad shipped 3 more cows to market. Only 1 left, they couldn’t corral it.

Good evening. Back after 7 hours of driving to in-laws for the day after thanksgiving dinner. When we got there a turkey was frying on the driveway in the propane burner pot. Glad I brought my taco soup. Kind of amazed when we realized of the 21 people there we were the oldest and drove the farthest, if it would have been a reunion we would have won 2 door prizes.

Wngsprd, Whipper would just add another injury to coco, sorry to say, so it would probably be best just not to invite those people again.

Bird "Apple CARPLAY" allows your phone, including maps, to sync and navigate on your NAV. Someone younger might know of all the things "Apple CarPlay" can do.

Some dogs just do not cohabitant well together.

Brogen has no animal friends and apparently does not want any either.

Jay, never had lamb growing up. My Dad said they had lots of mutton during his Army days, didn’t want any in the house.

1st wife did a really good leg of lamb. Sophie has never done lamb. I will get it when out, but not too often as it has ranged from very good to “why did I order this”.

David- Most lamb in the USA is way overcooked by custom which = a tasteless, chewy, choking in the throat kind of experience. 142º - 145ºF internal temp = medium rare. Many people like it even cooler. Rosemary, lots of garlic "larded" into the lamb fat, cumin, thyme, and marjoram works well. Anchovy paste takes it to another level.

Good evening all. 44F for the start, rain, light wind. Forecast thunderstorms did not develop, Overcast with rain drizzle and fog, light wind and high temp coming late, 60F at 9Pm. Putter day today, worked on 10-speed, tires swapped, tubes replaced, brake caliper on order, with fog and drizzle all day roads stayed wet so no ride. Did get nap in and prime rib left overs made for good eating tonight.
Billy, sorry to hear about Coco, glad everything alse went well in spite of the grime appliance reaper making an appearance. Door is open anytime. If stepdaughter over Scooter will just pout

Good morning, -3C/ 26F with an impressive white-everywhere frost that is doing a good impression of a snowfall.

Wng, hope Coco soon recovers. I sympathise with you having unruly visitors. My mother never actually shouted, nor did she bite friendly dogs, but her unwarranted cutting words made the one Christmas we had both sets of parents over to our house at the same time an event that was never to be repeated.
