Good morning! 73˚F heating up to 95˚F sunny.

Saw the T-Coil sign at the movies last night so my hearing aid will be able to tap into it when costco re-programs them next month.
Since I use the close caption on the TV at home I decided to use the movie theater's closed caption device. it sits in the cup holder and has a flexible stand that you can adjust to your height. Other people cannot see it. The close caption on the TV is better because when viewing the cc on the movie device your eyes unfocused on the movie screen and focus on the closer cc. But it does help especially when the people talk in that British accent. IMG_3134.JPGIMG_3135.JPG

Drew, Dosn't everyone know that?

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 62° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 84° with 100% chance of rain. Had hoped to get lawn cut yesterday. But off and on rain all day. Same today. Should be a good day to plan tomorrows projects.

mpsmith60 :welcome:

Don, I need to check on the hearing aids wife had. They were top of the line a couple years ago. Hearing guy was not available yesterday when I visited Sams Club.

Good Morning All.

No doubt that NYY, Houston and LAD are the best teams this year, and it’s true that the Yankees still have 12-14 guys on the DL. Sometimes the chemistry is better with the backups, they have the best record in the MLB so something is working.
I'll attribute some of the good season to chemistry but a lot has to go to the age of the players a bunch of young guys who still love the game more than the big paycheck and are just happy to have made it to the show and for others like DJ given a chance . It's human nature I guess as a supervisor at the PD the new guys, rookies, were always excited to put on the uniform and after a few years it was just another day.

Good Friday Morning. Friday the 13th ..... be safe!

It's a very pleasant 70° this morning but, we'll see about 94° this afternoon.

Everything to know about Okra;

Okra, or "Gumbo," from Africa | Archives | Aggie Horticulture

David .... congrats on selling your old tractor.

Drew .... if a "girl fight" breaks out, over your gourds, at the Garden Club ....... GET VIDEO!

The Astros didn't fare well with the "A's" this week.

Everyone have an excellent Friday.

Prayers to all.

Good morning all. Plenty of sunshine this morning, which should help dry out the grass cut two days ago after a sharp shower last night. Even before that it was very doubtful that it would stay dry long enough to make hay, so a friend is going to wrap it and use it for his cattle.

Our son is staying with us for a couple of days. For once I have resisted the temptation to use him as slave labour and we enjoyed a few hours yesterday afternoon doing a bit of fishing.

I don't think I have ever seen okra, let alone tasted it. My wife tells me it is sold here in a few specialist grocers under the name "lady's fingers". Fortunately I've never met ladies that fit those okra descriptions either. Is it any good at sealing leaky tires ?

I talked some friends from Mexico into trying okra for the first time. She came back and told me, "NO WAY"....

Wifey brought me coffee. Glued the neck back on the ukulele that got sat on by a kid... Time to head to work.

Astros bats fairly quiet last two games.

Good morning all. 55 heading to mid 70's today
Plan for today take out the power washer to make sure there are no other issues before my daughter's boyfriend takes it for the weekend. I'm sure that will turn into a project once I start spraying.
Gutter Guy showing up today only a week late
My wife will be watching my grandsons latter this afternoon until my son gets home for work so I'm going to pick up some pizza and go spoil the kids a little
Drew I see you are a Michelin fan I put them on my avalanche when I first got it they rode nice but didn't get the milage out of them replaced with Generals rode and handled just as good lasted longer and I saved some cash.
Don not a fan of artificial milkshakes. My first job was in my uncle's dairy cleaning bottles then moved up to making icecream and working in the dairy bar. Okra just won't cut it.
BEF maybe wife wanted some attention and figured that unplugging the router you would get off TBN lol
Have a good Friday all and stay safe.

Tire brands, like everything else, may be part of a much bigger company. Years ago, my brothers were B. F. Goodrich dealers, but at that time Goodrich, Michelin, and Uniroyal were all owned by the same company. Even more mergers now. I had pretty good luck with B. F. Goodrich, but right now I'm driving a 2017 Ford Escape that came with 235/50R18 Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires, and with nearly 26k miles, they're getting close to having half the tread worn off. (Yep, I still have my tread depth gauge). I did get a nail in one of them once; no other problems or complaints.
