I at least have enough strength now to get to floor from the chair and get back into chair. 2 wks ago i couldnt do that.
I put cardboard on garage floor, foam matt to put knee down on to get out of chair. Then my son was able to grab things as needed.
Undone chore was for son to get kubota out, and use it to pick up the split rail fence i knocked over parking the camper back on july 7th, one day after my GBS started. A couple posts were rotted and already leaning. Little tap knocked it over. Fence has wire stapled to it. On the bottom side. Need to pull staples to remove wire to disassemble. Want to save the rails. They will rot fast on the ground.
Good to hear you are doing some minor chores within reason. Getting things done might just be your primary motivator for PT OT. I still can't wrap my head around this disease that has disabled you for so long. But I'm so glad to read you are getting better day by day. Prayers sent.
Well, I didn't take family anywhere. We were going to have some company over, but their son got sick and they had to cancel.
I tried to charge the battery in the old Gator to no avail. Bought a new battery and it fired up. Not running good on both cylinders. 1 cylinder has intermittent misfire, which changes with choke or throttle position, so I feel it should be the carburetor. It has a dual throat carb which share a single float bowl. I'm guessing the tiny idle jet on the 1 cylinder is clogged up.
I got the box blade on the smaller tractor, and scarified the garden. It is so dry, it is like bricks. I told the wife she'll have to wait until a good rain to plant her kale, spinach and cabbage. Also, it would be better if it weren't still 100F everyday for those plants. Friday is predicted 104F. There is a small tropical depression in the Gulf of Texas, but they are saying the rains will go south of here.
Watered my pecan trees with the hose set to slow drip.
Replaced a broken slat in the window blinds that my son broke. I made him help. He learned.

I found out our walmart carries a large Powerade 32oz sports drink, cold, in the convenient reach in cooler (by the checkouts) for only $.77 Similar to gatorade. Right next to the 16oz sodas for $1.77ish......
My autistic daughter has been having a really rough time lately. Any little thing sets her off. We are trying different meds and routines. She can go from happy...to tears....in 30 seconds....or less.
