BEF just got an e-mail from the neighborhood pet club tonight. They are looking for a foster home for a kitten, The owner contracted Gillian-Barre and will be in a rehab facility for at least six months.

Your 6 weeks was a fast recovery, but I know you have a long way to go working recovery from home, hang in there.

Maddie kept her BW at the ranch. She'd start out in back of shop, across concrete, and down the hill by the pool, into the grass. She would crank the handle bars and spin around 1-2 times in the grass. She went too far once and slid into the tank backwards into about 8" of water. She always said .... that was "her best one". Our German Shepard ... Buddy never left her side when she visited the ranch. Big Wheel chasing was one of his favorite games.

It depends on how bad it gets. I think mine was mild, caught early. I would hate to have been worse.

I also went to acute rehab. They work you harder. Sub acute rehab is less therapy over a longer period. Although with GBS, not sure one is better. Depends on how severe.
