My short term disability ends today. Last week i called, they said i had nothing to do, they would handle it. It never got done.

Of course, and it’s Friday. Best of luck getting it fixed 🤙🤞

BEF- Your experience brings back memories.:(. I highly suspect that everything that requires a SSI/SSDI “caseworker’s” efforts to maintain a beneficiary’s initiation to and/or continuation of benefits ceases on Thursdays and always prior to their vacation or retirement with no one to cover their caseload. Hang in there and from experience it is advisable to become a real PITA.. Good luck.

Good evening all. 75F for the start, clear sky, calm wind. Wind kicked up to moderate, sky clouded up some this afternoon, and high temp of 99F HI108. bike ride to start day, cool off then go get rest of wood, nice pile in back yard :). Nap finished of the day.
Ron, Sounds like Betty has put up heck of a fight. My grandmother had a stroke when she was 82, couldn't talk, would not let anyone but Mon to see her, passed a few days later, Grandmother could never had gone a year w/o talking!
Drew good luck in your RV search. It is fun to follow.
RNG nice score on the fire truck.
Randy, good to hear you are home. Did they do the valve work or is that still pending? Praying your meds will learn to ply nice.
Jay how was the reopened restaurant, and did you behave or party when ordering? I need to party less my self.
Buckeye the pan of choc chip cookie brownies looked good! Sorry to hear about your paperwork SNAFU, but good to hear about your progress.
Prayers for all.

75 currently. 88 today for the high.

Excavator is almost done. He’s got about 5 trees left. Then pile some stumps next week after I get logs cut out. Burned that big brush pile I had pictures of a few days ago. It’s now down to half a dozen stumps. They’re encircled so maybe they’ll stay burning. Lit it about lunch Wednesday. Did loose 3 more trees that were 60-70 feet away and were scorched. It got hotter than I thought it would. They are now also down. Have 6 piles left and will wait for winter as they are right up next to standing trees. Maybe I won’t kill a bunch more if they’re dormant when exposed to the heat.

Power bills. August bill. $211.09 for 1866 kWh. House. $644.07 for 5280 kWh chicken coops. Commercial power is more expensive till you top 15,000 kWh/month. Then it gets dirt cheap. Will have to look at last month as it was about 18,000 kWh.

Kyle sorry about your aunt.

Drew happy searching. I’d stay away from the Ford 6.7 diesel. From what I’ve heard they don’t have the longevity. If your specking one and have an engine choice I’d go Cummins. Although Mercedes should have a good diesel.

BEF glad you’re improving and your kids made college.

Ron sorry to hear of your wife. It has always been easier for my family when it’s been that persons choice, and not some decision that was forced onto the family. Best wishes to all.

Good morning all. We have the last rain cloud passing over, then look to be in for a few days of dry weather. I had intended pointing more brickwork in the spring, but somehow the months have slipped by. Now I am out of plausible excuses, so I better make a start today.

RNG, what a marvellous looking fire truck. Having a mobile pump and water supply independent of any other equipment must be very reassuring on top of all the other measures you are taking and a lot of fun too. Maybe those on here with fire fighting experience can give you some tips on how best to protect yourself if you are contemplating having to go outside during a fire.
