Good morning! 68 now, likely 76 for a high of today. Rained several times yesterday and last night. Flooding in a nearby county.
Thoughts to everyone is are ailing and healing.
I conserved energy yesterday. Was tired from Friday and Saturday outside work, then helping at the race Saturday night.
But the race was worth it.....he got his 1st podium ever in a major race! There were 54 riders in the 450 Amateur class and he finished 3rd behind the 2 kids acknowledged to be the best riders in the class. And kid in 2nd had his hands full. Johnny made him earn it. We had the Yamaha handling incredibly well. The Amateur nationals start tomorrow, may take the day off and go help.
Everyone have a safe and good day.
Good to hear your protoge is coming along. Hope you're having fun with it. Having success would sure make it funner for me.
That story has a big shark ending. Sorry, didn't get video of my son. Had my phone in the dry storage of the boat. Anyway, I didn't even try to fish. I was busy teaching my kids how to fish. But one got a better lesson from a fish than from me!
Sad to report that Chris Kraft passed away today at age 95. Glad he got to see the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11.
RIP.

A great American.
Not a good morning. Much weaker. Got ot and pt evals today. Treatment 4 today. dr says no published docs on success of 2nd round of treatment. I might just be in for a long slow recovery.
Losing upper body strength.
So sorry. I pray that each day from here on, you get a bit better, until you get back to full strength.
73 today high of 76 later. Stays below 85 for next few days. Nice.
Took youngest son to allergist yesterday. He had allergy testing done and that unfortunately came back negative. Doctor and us was hoping for some positive reactions. He has a mucus problem that we have been fighting for over 2 years. Waiting for him to out grow it or to get old enough for testing. Always suspected allergies because of family history. Doctor says she’s stumped. So she’s sending us to a pediatric pulmonologist. For lung testing and to see what’s going on. He’ll be 3 next week.
Met with the excavator operator this morning. He’ll be here next week to clear ground for the fences to the chicken coops. Will be bringing a 315L Caterpillar in. Looks like we’ve got about 40 hours of work planned out for him. While on our walk around he had me call the local power company to inform them of a dangerous tree. It’s big, living rotten, and right on their power line. Said he wasn’t comfortable messing with it, and to have them top it below their lines. Then he’d get it out. Power company said they’d come evaluate it.
Drew when’s delivery?
Prayers for your son. Do the chickens put off a lot of dander or something that could cause it? Have you tried really good HVAC filtration with either static grates or UV light (or both)? Static takes out dust and UV can kill a lot of airborne stuff.
Must be some crazy fence lines to clear. Got any "small" projects needed while he's there???
Drew, come on by!
I just had to put a new SDD harddrive in my mom's computer. Her 750G barracuda was giving a "smart" alarm saying it was about to crap out. Bought a 240G Sandisk for $40. Anyway, had to borrow a data cable to hook it up simultaneously and used a Sandisk piece of software to clone. Once I had everything in place, it went smooth. I had tried a system image and restore, at first to do it, but forget that. I could do it in a matter of an hour or 2 now.
Just got back home from IAH Bush Intercontinental. Picked up my wife and daughter. Glad to have them back home.
Back to work tomorrow.
