So that's why I'm so strong. There's a steroid-like chemical in spinach.

Mostly, make sure you don't eat too much spinach if you will be drug tested at a bike race, you could get disqualified for doping.

For the rest of us, if you have a project that requires strength, eat your spinach to triple your strength. Like Popeye.

The study was using the same chemical in spinach at a dosage that equals eating 8 pounds of spinach a day.

Yikes another pet eating pet escapes. We received an e-mail from the Sheriff's office this afternoon. Whipper is on full alert. Gray 2 is laying around in the back yard imitating chicken livers.

"Water Monitor Sighting

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office has reported that a five-foot long water monitor (lizard) walked off of one of the properties near the golf course. They believe it is near one of the water sources near the golf course. They were out this afternoon near those holes on ATVs searching for it and did not find it.

They will be setting a trap near one of the water sources to try and catch the lizard. This is most likely a lost pet as this species is not native to this area. However, it is important that if you see the animal to stay away from it and call the Sheriff's office immediately either through 911 or at 512-864-8282, then select option 1, then select option 1 again. If you live near the specified holes, do not leave any pets or children unattended as this is a large and dangerous animal. Due to the trap being set with chicken livers, the trap may bring in other animals such as coyotes. The Sheriff's office will keep us updated."

Good evening all. 72F for the start, mostly cloudy, light wind. Wind got to moderate for a while, sky cleared off to partly cloudy and high temp was 90F. Wife decided not to shop while gassing the boat with E0, so trip to town was solo. bit of a line for the gas pump, but otherwise went smoothly. This afternoon got the small garage door screen back from stepdaughter, who did a bang up job on the changed the width by 2 ft smaller, and got it hung up. Of course my t-shirt looked like Drew had been wearing it (soaked). Short nap to finish day.
Dabsgt, if the boat is running well my be a challenge to get it on the lift

Drew, nasty video, was on Lake Powell in a house boat, a few years ago, saw thunderstorms moving in and headed for shore, took longer than I wanted to find a suitable anchorage, was afraid I was going to look like the second pontoon boat

Don I don't race, so no drug testing. Since Drew is not close no access to 8 pounds per day spinach either :licking: You do seam to have a lot going on with the wildlife there.

71F clear sky upper 80's for high.

TBN must have had hiccup this morning all I got was 502 Bad Gateway. :confused3:
After work set on mower for couple hours give the lawn much needed haircut.

Drank both cups of coffee. It was 62° this morning. Heading to 89° with thunderstorms late in the day. TBN has been down all morning. At 11am it is already 83°. Spread a yard of mulch. T shirt is soaked. Looks like I will spend rest of day inside.

Hope all those healing are continuing on that path. Prayers sent.
