Likely price, Kyle. Less than I had been planning.

Congrats on the new tractor David.

Made in USA six ply Carlisles, not to be confused with their Chinese stuff. Which lasted 600 hours only on the front of my JD.
Gravely is all American iron, wanted the tires to be too. JD is international, aka Yanmar.
Gravely on prior all terrains would never have pulled through the lower part of this field. I could have waited a day but easier on tiller when
ground is soft. Tiller is a DR Rotohog, which is made by Agrifab and gussied up to DR specs, including remote height adjust and electric start.
Despite the fact I've already replaced the engine and the transmission, that was only after many years of abuse in rocky soil.
Took a while to powerwash all the mud off.

Congrats on the new tractor David! You'll like that color blue...really matches the sky. That overall price/deal sounds really good!

Got a little bit of work done outside, within an hour the clouds were building. The storms arrived 3 hours before they were forecasted. We got .8 in of rain in the gauge. Same forecast for tomorrow.... I guess I need to get my butt out earlier if I want to get anything done!

David- Congratulations on the new tractor purchase. I await the pictures.

“She is doing really well. All is looking up.”- Mike Good news.

Ronjh- There was a lot of NWS “discussion” regarding your area and this system.

“Made in USA six ply Carlisles”- Drew. I agree…. I have them on my fronts with inner tubes. Frontend R-1’s do not like weighted FEL’s.

Back from town.
Pulled trigger on the LS XR4140H. Delivery not until week of Jun 10, so no pics for a bit.
Monday will get quote to add 3rd rear remotes.
This is a new 2016 with quick attach loader.

Congratulations David. You'll be very pleased with your LS.

My 2017 XR4155HC came with 3 remotes standard. I've got FIT-Rite hydraulic upper and side link cylinders and I wanted the 3rd remote for my LP 96" rear grader blade "angle" cylinder. I generally get as much "tilt" from my hydraulic side link, as I need.

Pics ...... when you take delivery.

RNG, just had lunch with former boss Friday. He just bought a 2005 Takeuchi tracked skid steer. Has a 65hp yanmar. He uses it primarily as a fork lift.

He got it with a good bucket for $13K, and he said the going rate was close to $20K for it. He had to travel to Arkansas to get it.

His friend had a grapple and forks for it, and just gave them to him. Nice friend.

I just got done spreading the road base with large stones. I actually put my water level on the boxblade with a couple of clamps and went slow to keep it adjusted. It was the "hot ticket". Had to have my daughter manage the water level hose/tube. I owe her something, it was hot. I will need to put some small gravel over it I believe.

Our small dog just got scorpion bit, by a young small scorpion. Gave her a 1/4 of a benedryl, then about 30 minutes later, gave her another 1/4 pill.

Ron, teach that small one to go for the ankles, and put a spiked collar on her. :)

I got my TnT from Brian years ago for my Kioti. Hoping it is a good fit for the LS. I want the 3rd for my flail with hydraulic shift/offset.

Send Brian an email David. He'll be able to let you know if your old cylinders will be appropriate for your LS.

I'm sure you already know to move your adjustable manual side link over to the left side, to get you even more tilt adjustment.

Good idea.
I’ll have to look and see what I have for reference. Likely will still use even if not optimal, as long as functional.

I was a bit surprised to see Tilt on the right as I’ve always had on left.

48° F and going to a high of 59. Wind WSW 11 gusting to 17 mph. 40% chance of rain.
Around here 40% is the new 100%.

I have only one job for today, put a new screw in one of my emergency triangles.
That will be my personal job list caught up.

Tuesday is the day I go south and back to work. After Monday my presence on here will be limited to the weekends and rain days.

Have a good day all

62 going to 86 and probably storms this afternoon.

Ron, great new dog. My parents had one like that and loved it.

David, exciting to hear about your new tractor. You certainly will get good use of it with all of your projects.

Kyle, how does your water level work?

I won free tickets to a very nice festival yesterday, about an hour away. Rassawek has everything from wine, bourbon and moonshine tastings to steamboat and helicopter rides...lots of classic cars, artists, old timey equipment and sawmill, bateaux, 3 bluegrass stages and bar-b-q and ribs. One of our friends was an exhibitor so we surprised her when we showed up.

Welcome - Rassawek Vineyard

Roy, hope the new switch fixes the zt. Dealer told me to engage pto at low rpm to prolong the pto clutch life.

The dealer was out of stock for the switch, so I ordered a couple. I planned on pulling the old one out and seeing if I could do something with it...but no need. The PTO engaged as advertised! I'll still get the two spares though.
So, finished mowing and did the trimming.
I engage at about half throttle (on the ZTR)...never at full RPM. I've had enough PTO's (tractors) to know how to minimize any shock. I don't have a rotary cutter any more (use a flail mower instead), but when I did...the 4520 has plenty of torque at low RPM to keep running while spinning up a cutter's blades.
