Need to pour first cup of coffee. 46° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 54° with cloudy skies. Got about .5 of rain yesterday. Everything is very wet. Need another Menard run then see how well it dries up to do out side projects today. Window guy is coming out to look at 4 windows that have lost their seal. That will cost a few $$$$. Had all the critters check in yesterday. Deer, Cranes, Squirrels and Turkeys. Plus Blue Birds have found the 2 house we have out for them.

David, hope the LP line projects starts going better.

Buckeye. Prayers for your FIL.

Randy, prayers for you, Ellen and your families.

Kyle, glad you are feeling better.

Buppies, prayers.

Good Morning All.

My laptop confirms it is Friday, but I find that hard to believe too.

Ne'er cast a clout till May is out said my wife on hearing the weather forecast. It's an old saying that tells not to discard winter clothing until the Hawthorn (which often used to be called the May flower ), is in full blossom.

I have just been carrying some plastic drums into the greenhouse, filling them with water in the hope they will warm up and then act as storage heaters as my wife has some young plants at a tender stage and that forecast was for a frost tonight.

Good morning. It's 71°F this morning and forecast is for 78°F this afternoon. Big storms, heading this way, from the West.

I've got to go to Richmond this morning to drop some things off at the house so, going to see if I can get there and back before storms get here to the ranch. Unlikely though.

Everyone have a great Friday

Prayers to all.

38 °F and going to a high of 54. wind NNW 14 mph. Periods of rain or drizzle.

Three communities south of me within 1 hour have declared 'states of emergency' over the flooding from the snow melt. We have one road that is still closed due to flooding. The good thing is that there is another way into and out of that road. Nobody lives on the low lying area there.

A North Bay shopping trip will happen today.

I guess there will be no energy conservation until I get home.

Happy Friday all

Good morning! 64˚F raining but clearing soon maybe.

Our neighborhood is Firewise certified.
This morning there is a Firewise meeting in the grand ballroom and then after we all go out and clear out the underbrush in the common areas. This is the first time I'm doing this and don't have a clue how they have organized it. There is a good chance it will be too muddy or the rains will continue but I'll be there with bluejeans and loppers.

We had some wicked storms yesterday as i left work, close lightning strikes. Nothing at home, so got the garden cleaned up. Wife came down as i was pushing out the weeds with the ratchet rake, so i stopped to see what she wanted, Nothing, just wanted to watch you. Lol

Take one day at a time.

Oldest son flies in late tonight to attend friends wedding. Then returns monday to take finals, then graduates next week. I work next to airport, but will go home and come back.

Wifes parents were going to go to graduation with us, now we are hoping he lives.. Never know what life will throw at you.

Thomas, how about a pic of Hanna in her chair?

PJ, keep the music flowing...

Everyone have a good day. Supposed to have lunch with a couple former coworkers.

Good morning to all! Low of 45, going up to 74, sunny all day.

Not a good night, the pup started with diarrhea yesterday afternoon. He awakened me to go outside just after midnight, then around 1:30am. At 2:45am, noise from the carrier again, this time a mess. Continued until 5:30. Wifey is now trying to get a few winks of shut eye... I'll try later... Pup seems to have settled down....

Tractor might ship tomorrow. If not, should go out Monday. It's a 10 hour trip, but I don't know if they can drive straight through anymore. I don't want to take delivery of it in the dark either.

That's the news for here....

David, I hope you find a simple solution to the gas pipe situation easily.

Buppies, extra prayers sent...you got this!

Ron, that chicken video is unbelievable... We don't have chickens, but the neighbor does... I 'm going to ask if he's ever done it, if not we'll have to try.

I'm kinda in a stupor right now, so....

Everyone have a great day! It's Friday! Prayers sent for all!

Pouring down rain here this morning. Wifey made me my special half decaf/regular with a lot of milk to further dilute it coffee this am.

We already had a 1/2" of rain yesterday. Went out in the garden last night with my blacklight flashlight. Found 2 tomato worms. Those critters can really eat a lot. I'm sure there are more, the tomatoes plants are so thick with leaves, I would have to really comb through them (inside their cages) to find any more.

I already have almost half dollar sized green tomatoes, and a yellow squash that needs picking. Potatoes are starting to flower. I read where to harvest a few weeks afterwards, and that tuber growth stops when soil reaches 80F.

I'm off today. I'm bidding on an auction boat and another bid on an outboard he wants. He would bid but he wasn't able to get processed by the auction people in time....I hope he wins it. What is better than having a buddy who owns the boat? All I have to do is buy gas and eats. I get the cheap end of the deal. :)

The low was 30° this morning. Yesterday was mostly sunny with a cold wind. Today is going to be around 60° with partly cloudy skies and a 15-20 mph wind.

Plan on doing somethings outside today. Maybe work on the fence.

Hope everyone gets a good start to the weekend.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

A drizzly overcast 42ºF for today’s low temp; a dank 43ºF presently and waiting for rain and temperatures reaching into the low 50ºF’s later. Maybe some mixed. clouds/sun Saturday. Mid day until the next round of rain through Sunday. Monday-Tuesday look to be sunny and then the rain returns midweek next week.

BEF- I am sorry to read about your FIL. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Kyle- I am happy to read that your back pain was muscle related and on the mend….. and “your long hair with the window down might be causing some natural resonance and harmonics. Make sure to lean back inward to bring ying/yang back into balance... ”- Thanks for the laugh. What RNG really needs is some flower decals and psychedelic art on his Vanagon and keeping his hair at hippy length.;).

David- Sorry to read and see the wrong way gas pipe. Nice trench work.

Bruce- No voices” yet. The floaters were in the eyes; I have spring peepers in the ears. The vibration from the polishing bit stirred the floaters up for a while.

“…. I'll know it if I see it. Better to be happy by myself than miserable with someone else. I'm pretty sure RNG wrote that…”- Drew I hope you find that special person. RNG probably has posted something like that.

Billy- I hope Coconino’s blood test results come back negative.

Ted- I am sorry to read about your Pup. I hope his GI challenges are over and that you and your wife get some sleep.

I hope everyone has a decent Friday and weekend.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers

54°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 68° today. No rain expected today until after midnight.

Got the fuzzy butts and the feather butts fed this morning. Not likely to get any mowing in today, so it looks like another music day.

Wngsprd, right now I'm working on a progressive rock album; long songs, odd time signatures, strange stories ... you know, the fun prog stuff. Got the basic drums programed for the first piece yesterday. So far, it's at 8min 45sec, but that will probably change before its done. Going to work today and tomorrow on some basic guitar, bass, and keyboard tracks (scratch tracks).

I was going to re-record the funk stuff I finished awhile back. However, after listening to it again, I decided to let it stand as is. Need to get that one pressed into CDs and released.

Ron, I have tried that line thing with a few roosters. Yes, it really works.
