Good morning!!!!

I grew up in a household where my father used a big wooden salad bowl spoon to hold mustard in the bottom, then olive oil poured on top, crushed garlic, then wash it all off the spoon with apple cider vinegar.
And here I am six decades later making the same dressing
because commercial dressings have lots of salt.

I intentionally use apple cider vinegar because I know it is good for me. It is not good for my acid reflux and tender tummy.
It's an acid....duh. So I have to eat with other food, not just an acidic salad alone. Is there a low acid vinegar with equal
benefits?

71 currently, low tonight 65, tomorrow low 66, that will bring the ground temps up. Need warm ground for my okra.

Think I will sleep well tonight. Storms coming in tonight and tomorrow, Sat may be a rainout.

Wife said our walmart now only sells milk in gal jugs, no more half gallon. Didn't someone else mention that?

Yep, that was mentioned before, and I can only guess that they don't sell enough half gallon containers to be worth keeping in stock, but we go to a lot of different Walmart stores in this area just for a little variety and I've never been in a Walmart that didn't have the half gallon size of WHOLE milk, which is the only thing I'll buy. So I haven't noticed whether they've quit having the half gallon blue john.

Don, how about a pic of a cell phone amplifier?

I'm in.

Drew- Raw apples are purportedly "alkalizing." I eat an apple a night before I bed down. They seem to work when I/We are light on the "heat" cooking.

Thanks for the + posts about my Mr. Knee. It's still within my constitutional rights to be stupid; I'll try to avoid stupid.

When I used to play 3 rounds of golf per week, year round, in hot part of summer I took a potassium tablet before the round and another at the turn and cramps were stopped. Still do same if doing a lot of physical labor in the summer. I also eat a banana every morning when it hot.

Kyle, I started Qunol CoQ10 about 18 months ago. My pharmacist told me it’s a good idea for anyone taking a statin. A side effect was a reduction in blood pressure. Mine wasn’t high, normally around 130/85 or lower. Now it’s usually in range of 115-120 / 75-80. The only thing I changed was taking the CoQ10.

OK

On coQ10 -
The short:
Your body makes coQ10 with sun light and chlorophyll.

The long:
"However, light-activated chlorophyll in our body may help regenerate Coenzyme Q10. CoQ10 is an antioxidant our body basically makes from scratch using the same enzyme that our body uses to make cholesterol, the same enzyme thatç—´ blocked by cholesterol-lowering statin drugs. So, if CoQ10 production gets caught in the crossfire, then maybe that explains why statins increase our risk of diabetes, by accidently also reducing CoQ10 levels. Maybe thatç—´ why statins can lead to muscle breakdown. So, should statin users take CoQ10 supplements? No, they should improve their diets sufficiently to stop taking drugs that muck with their biochemistry. And by doing so, by eating more plant-based chlorophyll-rich diets, they may best maintain their levels of active CoQ10, also known as ubiquinol. However, when ubiquinol is used as an antioxidant, it is oxidized to ubiquinone. And for ubiquinol to act as an effective antioxidant again, the body must regenerate ubiquinol from ubiquinone, maybe using dietary chlorophyll metabolites and light.

They exposed some ubiquinone and chlorophyll metabolites to the kind of light that makes it into our bloodstream, and poof, CoQ10 was reborn, but without the chlorophyll, or without the light, nothing happened. And look, we get light, we get chlorophyll if weæ±*e eating our veggies. Maybe thatç—´ how we maintain such high levels of CoQ10 in our bloodstream. Maybe that explains why dark green leafy vegetables are so good for us. We know sun can be good for us; we know greens can be good for us. These benefits are commonly attributed to an increase in vitamin D from sunlight exposure and all the antioxidants from green vegetables. But maybe these explanations might be incomplete."

I do take coQ10 not every day is sunny.
