The best of mornings to you all. Thank you all for the welcomes and well wishes, I truly do appreciate it. Spent last night on skype with the wife showing her all the "fun new toys" we need to get for the tractor :laughing: She's just as thrilled as I am to get it in. Another beautiful day here in SE NM. No rain in the forecast, bright and sunny. I downloaded my user manual and I'm currently reading through it. Yes, I'm going to be THAT guy :thumbsup: I have worked with tractors and other heavy equipment, but never ON it so I have a LOT to learn. Between this forum and YouTube, I feel like I could take the whole thing to bits and put it back together :laughing: UNTIL I'm left over with 1 bolt that'll destroy the world when I try to crank it up :laughing: I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and look forward to speaking again soon!

Some relationships seem/are meant to happen statistically and/or spiritually. The older I get the more I am influenced by the spiritual side. One thing for sure, I am really happy for Randy and Ellen and their families. I remember Randy remarking about this flower and his late Wife's favorite color.

Thundering and storms all around. We had 2.5" of rain yesterday to knock the oak pollen down. A rumbling rain and 63˚F now.

Rick, the Texas Tech basketball team should be disqualified. We do not allow bonfires and flipping of cars in Texas. Disgraceful.

I am sitting with mom in the nursing home, not very responsive today, I’m afraid the time is growing short for her in this life. I’m hoping she gets to her 96th birthday on the 15th, but only if she is comfortable.

The storm squall line hit here at 10:30 am. We had several gusts exceeding 45 mph with rain going horizontal. Temperature dropped from 72°F to 66°F in about five minutes. Lots of lightning accompanying the storm as well.

We lost satellite internet and TV for about 30 minutes. AT&T has been “working” on the two cell towers that serve the ranch so we’re getting one bar max and a good deal of the time “no service”.

66°F and no rain.

Some mowing yesterday. Like the new flail. Kioti was overheating. Trip to town for new thermostat and fan belt to install today. Hope they fix it, then more mowing.
Hadn’t mowed in a long time with the Kioti, a different feeling of balance on the slopes than the DX30 I have to get used to.
