Morning and best wishes to all;
We got almost 3 inches of wet sloppy slippery snow yesterday afternoon/evening.
Of course I had swapped all the snow tires out for the summers and dropped the chains off the tractors.
My wifes car only made it about 50 feet up the driveway and spunout stuck and slidding towards the bank.
Drove down with the tractor which was getting enough bite to stop on the hill and tow her up to the house.
Warming up good today supposed to get to the upper 50's today and the next week.
Good Morning Everyone!!!
1 of fresh snow with 31ºF as today's low temp; 36ºF with mixed clouds/sun; and today's high expected to reach the mid50ºF's. It was a long day yesterday. Wifey had a neurologist appointment, I had PT, shopping for various needed items (like maple syrup), and pick up some takeout on our way back home. My Wife talked to the guy who sells his maple syrup. He reported a "lousy year" mostly due to the weather being too cold at the wrong time. PT went really well. The PTists are pretty impressed with my continued improvement = another 5コ of increased flexion and improved performance on the excercycle and "The Rack." 50º flexion on the T-ROM brace. Hopefully next week I can put this brace in the closet with all my other orthopedic medical supplies.
I planned on doing nothing today. Now it seems that Wifey and I will be driving down to Westfield, MA to hook up with my Sister and Niece for lunch at my expense to celebrate my birthday. I was trying to forget the BD. We will be traveling the backroads. The drive is really scenic. It might be really Spring in Westfield; not like here at home.
Drew- I am sorry to read about the "appointment process."
Ted- I am sorry to read about what is going with you and the dealership and the 都pecialty installers. Good luck. You do not need this aggravation. I hope your knee is not complaining.
David- Congratulations on the new flail mower and the + experience that you had with your dealer.
RNG- I am sorry to read about your fingers, take care.
JMKleinBBK- Welcome to TBN and to the GM thread. Good luck with your new tractor. I hope you have many hours of uneventful fracturing together.
I hope that everyone has a decent day today and a better day tomorrow.
My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
Welcome to TBN and congratulations on the tractor! Your working out here in my neck of the woods (still a bit far away) . Not too many people out this way. Again, welcome! Oh, did forget to post pics when you get the tractor.
The folks over in the LS forum can help answer any questions you may have.
YES! I really can稚 chat right now, but I値l PM you after I get home later. It will be neat to talk about 登ur world
The SUV quest has taken a turn. I rank the SUV 1. Mazda, 2. Kia, 3. Toyota, and my wife ranks them 1. Toyota, 2. Kia 3. Mazda. It's her car that I will drive a lot so we re-visited Toyota.
Since you'll be getting a Toyota, Don:laughing:,
If today was a day you could pick anything in the world you wanted to do what would that be?
Personally I would take the UTV and go to the mountains of WVA to ride the trails
I was born in Lafayette, raised in New Orleans, now I'm on the SW side. Southern Louisiana through and through.
I’m trying to prepare mentally.
If they only made a Mazota, combining the best of each..
Good morning to all! Low of 40, going up to 67. A little breezy this morning, hopefully calming by this afternoon.
David, nice flail! Sounds like you got some good customer service w/o any hassle. Seems to be rare these days.
Randy, enjoy the show and the whole day!
Drew, I won't be towing anywhere near the capacity, but it is merely principle. ALL of the Nissan hitches are class IV. Every last one of them on the lot. Any mention of the hitches in the owners manual, towing manual, accessories brochures, and on-line all state "class IV". Better to be way under capacity, than pushing towards the limits. Then the mere principle that they messed up the brake controller and the wiring. (Supposed to have ALL repaired / replaced this morning)
RNG, That's one of the first things I said to them..."OK, get my Jeep back, deal is over, I 'll go elsewhere". Of course that "wasn't possible"..... So they are going to install genuine Nissan parts.... My suspicion is that they are going are going to strip out another truck on the lot to get the Nissan parts.
I've got to get going... Don't want to be late for the appointment! I'll let everyone know the outcome.
Have a great day! Prayers out for all
The 2019 Nissan Frontier comes standard with a strong and efficient 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine that offers a solid 152 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque. Or, for those that want a little more power, there痴 the 4.0-liter DOHC V6 that offers an impressive 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque!
But, it痴 not just about raw power, it痴 about what you can do with it! The 2019 Nissan Frontier doesn稚 waste an ounce of energy, and thanks to its fully boxed ladder frame and engineering, it can tow a capacity of up to 6,720 pounds when properly equipped! There痴 not much the 2019 Nissan Frontier can稚 handle!
65ーF and no rain.
Expect to be flailing around a bit today.
Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
