26 and going to a high of 36 °F. Wind SSE 6 mph. Snow in the forecast or today, tonight and tomorrow.
A couple of inches at least.

I was going to take the BB off and put the BH on this weekend. Not now. That will wait until the weekend after I go 'down south'.

I've got a town run to do today as well as the dump. I will also see buddy about my new rims. I can get 4 from him for $800.oo or I can pay Chrysler-Fiat $700.oo for 1. 700 bux is a crazy-stupid price to pay for one 19" rim. for a car.

Have a good day all

Holy smoke, Bill, now they are telling us it is going to be up to 8”! I had tractored out a whole winter’s snow from my neighbor’s driveway who spent the winter in Florida, and he’s going to be back home on Monday. Just talked to him on the phone Thursday and told him that his driveway will probably be down to the bare gravel where I tractored it. Ha! And he doesn’t have snow tires - just front wheel drive minivan.

Good Morning all,

30 degrees this morning and heavy dark clouds. Snowed just a little last night, like 1/2". I think it's supposed to clear up for a few days though.

Thoughts and prayers for those in need.

Good morning to all! The temps dipped below freezing last night. I had turned the little fountain on two days ago, of course it was frozen this morning. Turned it off for a few more days. High yesterday was 78, today in only going up to 58.

Didn't get to do the dump run yesterday, got tied up doing other errands....didn't even get a chance to go to HF while in town. Maybe some shop time today, as long as I get to the dump first.

Drew, I hope you are able to find a good crew to hire, must be frustrating at best.

David, good luck with you cabinet project, hopes for your continued success and progress.... I think I hear the tractor calling your name however.....

BEF, hope you get the treadmill to reboot with the new app and all works out.

Thomas, how much syrup do you normal boil in a season? I wish I could get some "home made syrup" out here...good stuff:licking:

LFN, glad you were able to get a deal on the wheels. It's amazing that the dealers charge so much markup on parts...like they are the only place to get them and that the parts are "special".

Roy, glad to hear Suzette is recovering and no longer needs the supplemental O2.

Everyone have a great weekend! Prayers sent.

It looks like 23° for the low this morning. Ended up getting 8 - 10 inches of wet heavy snow yesterday and 3 more inches last night. Today will be partly cloudy with the high in the mid 30's and a light wind.

The only plans for today is to take care of the new snow. I'm just going to pack it down and call it good.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
CWB.

A cloudy/foggy 33ºF start to the day, 38ºF presently with continued fog forming over the remaining snowpack which is now ~60% remaining.Today's high temperature may hit close to 60ºF.

Randy- Belated Happy Birthday wishes for your daughter.. I hope your weekend family cookout goes as anticipated.

RNG- I am sorry to read about your friend. RIP. My + thoughts, wishes, ad prayers for his family and friends.

Roy- I am happy to read about Suzette's successful weaning off from O2.

Drew- I am sorry to read about your problems getting consistent and reliable help. I agree about poor business practices nowadays. I contacted 3 licensed arborist/tree services for my tree work. One was a flat out 渡o we do not travel that far, one never got back to me, and the last who has been here before fort tree work came through (as expected).

Thomas- Wifey saw 2 male robins in the open areas our lower field yesterday as well. I am happy to read that you are boiling. Did your sugaring season start late this year? Every sugar house here along RT 9 was boiling last Thursday.

Roy- I doubt that you have a spare vehicle hood laying around somewhere. I used one as a stone boat with my old Ford 1100. Weighted down it did a good job compacting gravel/dirt.

I hope that everyone has a decent weekend and all plans made for the weekend are accomplished w/o incident.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Me too!! I hated having oxygen in the house...definitely a fire hazard!

No, I'm afraid I don't...I'm hoping a roller (about 400 lbs) will do the job. Thinking about it, I think I used the Deere's bucket quite a bit too. The bucket isn't on the loader now (snow blade is) and it'll probably be a couple weeks before I can get to the bucket. As I'd written, still quite a bit of snow on the lawn and the bucket is over by an outbuilding a hundred or so yards away

62°F and no rain.

Hope to get cabinet sanded and stained today and if fortunate get time for my tractor as well.
Touring the Vet center was quite interesting. If need arose I wouldn’t mind it being my last residence. Just not in near future

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

I had one in 2009. Had gallbladder with a large stone removed. Could have gone to work next day except for Dr’s orders. Solved several problems with what seemed like flu and a cough.

I'm hoping it solves a few issues related to digestion. I have had a persistent cough until just recently. Doctor said to get it out soon. Also said, "Might try changing which side I sleep on for comfort"...I asked, "Should I stand on my head?" "If it helps yes"....

Roy,
The D.I.L was on oxygen for about three months this winter. We kept the generator about 10' from the wood stove and all was good. We ran the tubing into the bedroom and her mask was hanging from the ceiling so the cats couldn't play with either the tubing or the mask.
The supplier of the generator and the extra portable bottles said to keep them 10' or more from the stove.

I see that nobody has mentioned driveway markers, so I will suggest l a r g e rocks and use them for markers.

Had Ladies Day at the church building this morning, so i helped serve food.

Spread my 2 expensive bags of weed killer on a small part of the lawn. That didnt take long.
Finally got windshield on the ranger. Was my christmas present to myself.
Don't recommend this one, but its done. Makes a huge wind difference.

Good evening all. Cold front came through at 2AM this morning, high temp was 63F at the time. Wake-up, it was 52F and dropping. Trace rain, and WINDY. Temp got down to 47F, the back to 50F and the wind backing off, overcast all day with 2 peeks of sunshine. Bike ride got off to a slow start, due to wind and wetness, did get 40 miles in. Did get a nap, got a little chilled while riding.
Roy great news on your wife :cool2:
Kyle hope the stone is dealt with soon.
Rom speedy recovery for your friend.
Prayers for all.

It was 67°F early this morning and it got to 73°F by 11 a.m. the cold front arrived at 11:30 a.m. and temperature dropped 12° in about 15 minutes and it got windy.

Started out in short sleeve shirt and switched to LS shirt at lunch time and added hoodie by 4 p.m.

Prospects of rain, that never really happened kept me from spraying weeds. Winds keep me from more tree trimming.

So .... spent the bulk of the day on the Kubota Zero Turn ..... I think I put about 7 hours on the meter.

Next two days will be lows in the 40's and highs in the 50's.

Kyle .... good luck with your gall bladder. An Air Force buddy had his removed back in the 70's when the Laparoscopic Gallbladder Surgery was fairly new, as I recall. His surgery was uneventful and he showed up about 5 days later at the motocross track, to race with us. We were in our late 20's. Another friend, had same procedure last year when he was 68. He played golf, the weekend after his surgery.

Everyone have an excellent weekend.

Prayers to all.

Sorry to hear about the gall stones Kyle. Wife’s sister had issue with those in past. Me, I had kidney stones in my early 20’s. Believe me, you don’t want one. Urologist also advised I could expect reoccurrence. Fortunately When I was in the Army hospital in Japan returning from RVN, another patient was being treated for his kidney stones by drinking beer. I took note. No reoccurrence in over 50 years. seems a good proactive treatment.

Well, that is a surprise. My brother said he had a huge single gallstone, and the doctors said to leave it because it was too big to pass into the duct and cause problems.
