It seems like a good deal. I know the retail price was something like $12,500
Yanmar 22hp, MFWD, power steering.
You can buy one of those auto connect drive over decks for too.

Lou, good idea about the quick hitch; we hauled my LP quick hitch out and sure enough it was too narrow by the same amount, 30 inch spacing.
I'm really hoping LP makes an optional set of lower mower attachments, they are only held on by two pins, easy to take off and on, so would be super easy to just pop in a wider set. Maybe...otherwise, yes, to save the mower I'd have to fab up a wider mount.
Massey lower arms do not have the same amount of side to side adjustment as my last Kubota, much larger frame tractor, like yours and just makes the Cat 1 stuff look small.

Ron, thanks for info, hard to believe Medicare/part B would pay that much for a MRI. Half an hour for 6 grand. hard to fathom.

Sliced up some blue seed potatoes this morning, found a small supply at Lowes, which had eyes six inches long. I cut off the long eyes to about an inch from the potato and will plant those separately. Will be interesting to see if they will grow without a potato attached. This is for my red, white and blue potato salad.

Happy Birthday Phil. I turned 69 a few days ago, haven't felt well enough to be celebratory about this, but frankly surprised I made it this far.

off to plant potatoes in a quiet spot.

Happy belated birthday Drew. Hope your aches subside.

gorgeous. Are those blue bonnets?

my day has improved, got my first call on the the Kubota mower ad, guy is hour and a half west of here, and buys nice equipment. No scammer at all. Hopefully he will come take a look this coming week.

worked in greenhouse for several hours, planted more collards to replace the ones I fried, then sprayed neem oil on the cabbage and collards, they were already being chomped by some bug. Poor little plants, munched in their proverbial diapers...

Along with Drews hospital billing issues, one of my drs practices recently got absorbed by a larger company. They used to call me before every procedure demanding i pay $500 up front. I checked with my insurance, they said i only have to pay a copay up front, and mine was $0 unless the dr had requested a pre determination of cost, but they hadnt. So i called back and said, guess what, my insurance says i pay nothing until you bill them after the procedure, then they will determine my cost......

They tried again, and i reminded them again. No more calls after that.

Well, boys are flying back to school. Flight was over hr late leaving.

One of their classmates was critically injured in an auto accident on their way home for spring break, and died yesterday. That family had an awful spring break. I pray for everyones safety in travel.

Wife and i ate some texmex after dropping them off at airport. Ate too much.

Working on cloning computer harddrive. Ran out of space, already had a replacement drive.

44° and sunny.

I would feed it some lead. If given the chance. Unless I had a over abundance of rabbits.

I did not see it. Wife says there goes a Coyote. Pretty hard to shoot here. There is a house 150' on other side of it. Which makes it against the law. 350' from any dwelling is the law.

What's the pink one in the middle?

Beautiful day here, too Kyle, but I'm afraid the fire put the k-bosh on our lupins, a very similar plant in the same family. Not much field grass coming up, either, and with all the rain we've been having, it should be a foot high already. Not that I'm complaining about not having grass to cut.

Drew, did you guys think of reversing the pins on the mower? In other words, put the pins facing inwards?

Good evening all. 36F for the start, clear. light wind. Wind stayed light, sky stayed clear, and high temp was 67F. Nice week through Thursday, then chance of rain Friday-Sunday. Choir sang at chapel, made wifeys breakfast, then into conservation of energy mode. Dog sitting resumes tomorrow.
Phil, belated Happy Birthday!!
Drew belated Happy Birthday, still glad you are here, enjoy hearing about your exploits!
Still do bottom up fires, brain is not engaged when it's fire time.
Hear coyotes almost nightly, had a fox next door and still have tree rats:confused2:
prayers for all.

I bet those cranes will eat mice too if they see them.

Drew, I have to brag on my 13 year old daughter. She has helped me all weekend with the gardening. We got the mushroom compost spread and I tilled it in. We got 5 more tomatoes, 6 squash, 6 strawberries, 1 jalapena, planted along with putting some green pea seeds and green bean seeds in the ground and watered in. I still have a bit of room left, and need to figure out what to put in it. FWIW, my back is killing me too. :)
