Once again, since the day I started buying lottery tickets, only when they get over 400M,
did not have one matching number. Every time, not one matching number.
Nothing. Nada. How am I going to give away free tractors like this?.........

Need to go to local corner store and get non ethanol gas, will buy another ticket then. I only get one,
never more, it's just luck anyway. Luck of the Draw...

The money for those $400M jackpots has to come from somewhere, right?

Luck of the Drew, and the RNG. Never won even a dollar at the lottery, either.

That mindless twit was on one of her college's trustee's yacht when this story "broke." I think she was being "tutored"

Exactly. More disturbing is that sort of behavior is financially lucrative; people pay money for her to behave like that! LOTS of people! No wonder this society is going to :censored: in a handbasket.:muttering:

Keep in mind that because that mindless twit was enrolled someone else who deserved to be there was not.
And worst of all....she gets to vote!

That one hundred million dollar yacht! Kinda shows what our education system has devolved into, doesn’t it?

I do try to avoid the shoppers talking to themselves or to the shelved foods, but aside from them it痴 d@mn the old F@rts?? Full Speed Ahead. .

The ones that really get to me, Jay, freeze in mid isle, still as a statue, and start blathering on about what size milk to buy or how many potatoes. Often you can't get by them, and when they unfreeze, they could go any direction like a deer caught in the headlights. My only hope is that they don't display the same behavior while they're driving!

Some of you guys are having some nice weather...spread some around ...please?

It's been sunny here the past few days, but pretty windy, too. Perfect for firewood harvesting, but from the sounds of things, I'm not sure you want more of the wind. Heck, I don't want 103 MPH wind, or even a 78 MPH breeze! Stay safe, Ted!

Yes, that IS worst of all. At the risk of perturbing the political sensors, perhaps it's time those wishing to vote had to show they can pass a high school level civics test? No, that will never fly; voters can't even be forced to show proof citizenship!:confused2::duh:

Good Morning!!!! 48F @ 7:15AM. Mostly sunny. High 66F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.

Gonna try to get my shopping in town done early today so there's time left for more wood cutting this afternoon. I'll be taking my rubber boots with me so I can wade across the big puddle and carry the pallets I bought last week across. Also need to pack the small bandsaw and inverter so I can cut down the rebar I need for marking the survey stakes that were planted last week. Gonna be a busy morning!

57°F and rain this morning, going up to 65° today. We're expecting high winds here later today, with sustained gusts up to 60mph. Hoping our trees stay upright after the soaking rains we've been getting.

Roof looks good, David.

I've only ever won small prizes in the various lotteries; $3, $4, etc. Most I've ever one on one ticket was $7. I suspect in all the years I've been buying them (30-ish?), I've won probably less than $100 total. I buy one quick pick for each drawing for the Mega-Millions every week, and the same for Powerball when it gets over $200M.

From what I understand due to the nonprofit status of this college counseling company of one, the parents' fees AKA "contributions/bribes" were tax deductible.

Makes me "proud" to know that these :entitled braindead: "students" will be fast tracked into positions of power and potentially greater opportunities within business, media, and government.

Looks like we are going to have a beautiful day here. 15 degrees and clear blue sky no wind. Probably get to 35-40 degrees today.

As to the lottery, I only buy a ticket if it gets close to a billion. I tell myself odds of winning are so slim but the odds of winning without a ticket are impossible.

It was 18° this morning. The snow started yesterday morning and it's still snowing this morning. It's supposed to stop sometime today with high in the low 30's. The wind wasn't as bad as they said it would be be.

We got over 2 feet of snow so far. I think this is the most we have gotten since we have moved up here. I can't see any sagebrush out the front window, that's never happened before.

It least I know what I'll be doing today.

Hope everyone has a great day.
CWB.

Real nice job. That drone angle makes it look a plastic model house.
A rather productive day
Main roof metal all in lace and screwed down. Still need to do trim/flashings.

Also got new diesel storage all plumbed and ready for delivery come Friday. (Just to right front of sawhorses)

Claye, you have to make sure none of that snow escapes from your area. I hear that the folks up in Canada really really want it!

Stay safe and warm while you're out playing in it!:D:shocked:

Good Morning

RonJH- Good luck with the “safe” med replacement. I take Losartin(sp?); it is one of the meds ID’d as “unsafe.” I think all the tainted meds were “Made in China.”.

I believe that the 1st recalled/tainted products were sourced from China. Many of the 2nd round are sourced from India.

^^^^ Frank- Thanks for the information.

I called my pharmacy as Aurobindo Pharma did recall their Valspartan BP med, but not their Losartan. The pharmacist agreed, but was going to double check their med recall printouts just to make sure.

I'll save my rant for a later date.

Wow. If your name brand drugs are coming from China, where do my generics coming from? The mind boggles!
