Ron, I oil mine pretty regularly, and I know lots of folks think that's a bad idea, attracts dirt, but they always spin freely while I'm oiling them.
I like your idea of using a superlube (teflon?) on the shafts before putting them back in. My left side rollers were more worn than right, probably because they run on the pavement at times while mowing down the driveway while the right always stays on the lawn.
Buppies, thanks. Been a lot of educated guessing and not much results in over two months. I admit some concern; when you don't get answers, hard not to wonder about all kinds of things. Will know more tomorrow afternoon when I see ENT. I do my best to compartmentalize this and focus on the good things life brings us.
