Managed to get first coat of sealer on covered areas before the rain. Hopefully the other areas will dry. Interesting to see the water just bead up. Gives me hope.

If Buckeye posted an injury on TBN it most like needed stitches at the minimum and hopefully did not need to be wrapped in ice and transported with him.

The last time I got a “cut” I quickly grabbed a paper towel off the seat of the truck and wrapped the injury tight with black electrical tape. That was about noon. When my wife finally talked me into letting her look at it we ended up in the emergency room, 9:30 that night. They glued it back in place, most of the pad of the middle finger right hand. What made me laugh was the emergency doc almost in tears apologizing for having to put pressure on the wound while the super glue set up. I think it hurt him more than me.

It痴 the 425, assembly is minimal, but instructions are typically awful. The unit works great though. I also build a top of 1/2 plywood with counter sunk bolts to expand the top into a table for painting, etc...

No ice needed, probably could use stitches, but i wrapped it good. Problem is I'm on blood thinner..

Good evening all. 59 for the start, windy and overcast, trace of rain in the rain gauge. Intermittent rain started at about noon, heavier rain about 4, squall line about 8. More rain on radar, wind is down for a while, high temp was 63F. Today was another conservation of energy day except for cleaning lady prep and bike ride, wind made it tougher to ride. Nap helped to conserve energy

Good morning. A few degrees above freezing and no wind. The few long blades of grass left ungrazed are near doubled over with an abundance of dew drops.

House seems so quiet this morning now the kids have left. Looks like it's back to normal today - once I've figured out what normal is :confused2:

I was in bed and asleep by 9 P.M. last night, up at 4:30 this morning as usual. I just couldn't get warm, I've got an electric blanket on the bed and a large cat. She keeps me warm.

Another energy conservation day for me in preparation for this storm that is coming.

52 degrees this morning, going for a forecast high of 62. It was cloudy most of the day yesterday, very pleasant, but finally started to rain just a little around 4 p.m., got more serious around 6 p.m. and I just now went out and dumped about 2.05" out of the gauge. So that brings us to 54.75" and 73 rain days for the year with 5 days to go. Supposedly, our average or normal annual rainfall is 30.08".
