missed the snow this morning by only a few miles.
visited goddaughter in Fort Washington Pa for lunch, now up in Warrington at Comfort Suites
Microwaved heat wrap on my neck, that sure feels good.

left the charger for this laptop home so maybe I can find another tomorrow, or I'm going to do a lot of catching up on Friday.
hope you all are well.

Battery operated chainsaw does not need that oil. But I have not used mine yet to give a review if it's up to the job.
My battery operated chainsaws (and pole saw) uses a fair amount of oil. For the chain.
<snip>
We have several varieties of hot sauces in our fridge, and Cholula is one of them. We like both the original and the chili lime. Wife's favorite is called Happy Dogs, and is made by a local St. Louis guy (husband of her old piano teacher). My favorite is Frank's Red Hot original.

Eric, you can assure your puppy that no dogs are harmed in the making of Happy Dogs Hot Sauce. It was named after the three dogs they had when he started making it (all have since passed). Patrick and his wife are both animal nuts, and I believe he donates a portion of his profits to local animal shelters.

Don, I find it not too dissimilar to Tabasco in heat level, which I consider a fairly mild-to-medium sauce. It won't have you seeing Aztec temples or anything.

This discussion of hot sauces gets my mouth watering. I used to travel with a bottle of Tabasco because restaurants often had what I would call a "spicy but not hot" sauce. But lately I've gone to
habanero-sauce.jpg
because it tastes good to me, burns twice, and is readily available, even at Walmart.
Are there other sauces y'all can suggest with a slightly higher heat level I should try on my oatmeal?

Have fun with that stuff Newbury. You might try some Dave's Insanity sauce if they still make it.

I/We are fond of hot sauces and I agree with everything I've read. Some of the sauces posted have travelled through our hot sauce mix and all good. Pete's goes well with eggs;)

There is one marketed sauce that requires a PSA: 1 drop in a pot of anything and you're good.... :eek:trust me:eek: Within the megatonnage of heat is a complexity. A couple of times a year it is used and I am dewormed.

Good evening all. 32F for the start, clear sky, calm wind. Wind was moderate, sky stayed clear, high was 57F. Nice day, started with choir practice this morning, had annual physical, nap and first Christmas performance tonight at chapel meeting.
Eric neat tree story, I grew up in the burbs and we never went and cut a live tree.
Ron don't over do your arm, the PT people show be able to give you good advice.
Buppies, I am having some snow envy right about now.
Used to see mainly red fox in Missouri, Grey fox around here.

Pretty decent day today.
Not dry enough for the tractor but...
Wife managed to expand project about another 50sf. Pick and shovel, arms and shoulders are still enjoying. Told, wife, don’t think I’m 50 anymore

When I was active duty with lots of in the field time I think most everyone carried a bottle of hot sauce in their ruck to tailor our rations.
While I still enjoy a bit of heat from time to time what i don’t like is the 3AM reminder when I do too much ☹️

Was it you, Eric, that was complaining about Stihl gas caps? Will have to get a new one in town today.

I did fall a little out of love with Stihl when they redesigned their threaded cap to the new "quick release" style - they quickly released a full oil tank onto me far too often. I finally realised it never happens on the fuel tank and occurred most frequently after cutting trees with some dead wood, which tends to produce the smallest wood chips/sawdust. Each time it subsequently happened I looked hard and could see a small amount of oil/wood mix was clogging the mechanism, preventing the cap from seating fully. After that I solved the problem by wiping really carefully at each refill - or even simpler, by mostly using the Husqvarna instead.

The oil cap on the EGO is not without design fault either, it is not easy to align the threads. I have only used a gallon or two of oil, but so far there have been no problems with it coming off or leaking.

Good morning, with a bit of luck the clouds will keep all the wet stuff up in the sky today, which should make a dull December day much more pleasant, especially when you stop to think that there are no annoying insects around, nor any need to slap on sunscreen.

David, more concrete ! Is this another part of the plan to bring in more guests ? https://www.icao.int/NACC/Documents/Meetings/2016/ACI/D1-05-RESA.pdf

26 and going to a high of 30F. Wind S 16 mph. Flurries, about 1" more or less.

I get muscle cramps in my arms, legs, knees and hands when I get into too much sugar/sweets. Around this time of year it is really hard for me to abstain. Just this past season I have found that Red Feather pain spray does the trick. It isn't cheap at $20.oo plus tax for 4oz., but if it does the job (takes away the pain) then it is worth every penny. Is this a shameless 'plug', yes it is. Will I see any gain from this plug, nope. This is the first OTC product I have found that actually does what the label says.

I've got a town run today to get gas for the Dodge, but other than that I forgot.

Have a good day all

18 going to 42 and sunny.

David, you'd better get that concrete job finished quickly or you'll be paving all the way to the volcano. :)

We don't use much hot sauce but our favorite, along with salsa is 505 Southwestern, from near where LS lives.

Took Coco for a couple of miles snowshoe hike yesterday morning while the snow was fresh. Looked like a winter wonderland and found some tracks. Wore myself out.

Poured first cup of coffee. 25° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 32° with more clouds. I have recovered from yesterday's PT visit. But ti took some meds to stop the pain. Today is my wife Betty's birthday. Going to celebrate it tomorrow. Because we both have to many other things to do. She has a Red Hat Christmas party to attend. I have a Dr appointment and cleaning lady is coming.

Hot sauce is something I like in mild portion/flavor. It brings up a visit to Rustlin Rob's Gourmet Texas Gourmet food store In Fredericksburg TX.. Lot of hot sauce and and other spices. They have taste samples for just about everything they sell. In a separate small room they have all their super hot stuff. My friend that was with me who likes hot stuff decided to go in and try some of the taste. 5 minutes later he came out as red he could be with tears running down from eyes and nose running. Got him a glass of water that did not help one bit. I can see where some of this group could survive a visit to the HOT ROOM. Not me.

David, another 50 sq ft. I think Wngsprd has it right.

Looking, my wife has Theraworks for her cramps. Works some but not all.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

I like the taste of some hot sauces, but not much heat. Heat for the sake of bragging rights ranks right up with hitting your toes with a hammer, just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
25 now with a slight warming over the next few days. 60 by the weekend but not for long, lots of rain too.
Doctors appointment this morning, last time with my current doc, he is moving to Florida.
Have a good one, God bless.
