Those with children that need special attention are special. We also have several in our extended family. Each child has there own quirks and well as their special talents. Kyle's child is a great artist. This was in another TBN thread. Kaylee is 10 years old, autistic and has ADHD.
Kaylee Rogers and Killard House School Choir, Hallelujah with Lyrics. - YouTube

Kyle, that was YOUR daughter? Absolutely amazing....brought tears to my eyes. She is exceptional.

Not sure if I typed something out of context, but that is not my daughter.

No, I type Kyles Daughter was an (art) Artist, but right after talked about Kaylee, who is a (music) Artist. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't know how many of you all noticed the lyrics for "Hallelujah" were changed by the Killard House School Choir. The original was about King David mixed in with Sampson and Delilah. The school changed the lyrics to the Christmas story.

Good evening all. 50F for the start, overcast, light wind. Light drizzle on and off from about noon on. Wind was moderate, and low temp for the day, the current reading of 47F. Rain fore to start about noon tomorrow for me about 1.5 inches over the next 2 days. Got a bike ride this morning, worked on van door, could not push dent out :( then napped 1.5 hours :).
Ed good to hear about the improvement!
I feel sorry for the family of 41, but also realize that 41 is now in a better place. Both of my parents had serious health issues, Dad had alzheimers's and mom needed to live in skilled nursing facility.
PJ hope you got home ok and have some nice long weekends.
Don, I didn't think that was Drew in his avatar, Drew talks about his fused joints and that guy in the avatar can really arch his back ;)
I get 20 lectures a day, the full version, not just the number :D
No falling and dropping heavy objects on yourselves (lecture #15):D
BTW who were those young guys watching the space launch?
Flashpuppy welcome and home your toes are not mangled too bad.
Prayers for all

I missed the train and flyover. When i got home they had just went in for the private service.

I regret not taking off tuesday and going to the capital.

Our scout troop does lots of service projects next to camp david. GHWB came biking down the road in the park and stopped and talked to some of our scouts once.

29 right now...today's temperature will drop to the mid-20's.
Glad it's the end of the work week...

Added (0630):
Crappy drive in to work...snowy all the way, which was slow driving (for me), but the snow squalls south of Hartland/Windsor dropped visibility to almost nothing...almost whiteout conditions

Good morning, had some urgent work for Australia to sort out yesterday, so the only spare time I had needed to be spent feeding the sheep. Hay is so good this year that they almost had me over for a second day in a row in their rush for breakfast this morning.

Flashpuppy, you missed out one important detail - is the grader blade ok ? :D Seriously, hope you soon mend - an injury from something you know you should have avoided always hurts the most.

CWB, if your block heater is not lasting long, then unless there is a manufacturing problem, can only think the heat is not dissipating fast enough from the element. It doesn't seem to have any over temperature protection built in, going on this data sheet which says "Do not use more than 60% anti freeze. Use of non-distilled water could result in lime or calcium build up and cause premature burn out". ". https://www.amazon.com/Kats-11407-Watt-Engine-Heater/dp/B000I8VK80 https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/KAT11407

One option to put less stress on the heater would be to use a transformer to drop the voltage slightly. That should help prevent your heater from cooking, especially if your grid supply is a little on the high side. A cheap "auto-transformer" would be sufficient (that is one which just has taps on the primary winding, it doesn't need a more expensive isolated secondary winding, although what would also work ). Something like 104 V would take the power down from 400 W to around 300 W.

-9 and going up to a high of 1F. Wind N 6 mph. Sunny and a tad cool.

I've got nothing I absolutely must do today.

I started the genny just before we went to Dr.s and switched over the sump pump.
It is only a 5 minute drive to town, but the Dr was running behind, typical. We then needed to go and get the 'on sale' bacon. $5.oo/lb
The 'on sale' turkeys were the prestuffed ones and we wont let one of those birds into the house.
The hydro was back on by the time I got home. Genny shut down and refueled for the next time.

You guys that are 'accident' prone, if you saw the way I work with hot product (200 - 400 degrees) in summer you would be hollering pots and kettles. So I say nothing. I don't want to be the 'pot' calling the 'kettle' black.
Hopefully nothing is broke.

Have a good day all

Poured first cup of coffee. 25° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 29° with cloudy skies. When I got home from Dr. yesterday Fedex was delivering packages. One of the items was a Ryobi Electric Power Washer. Good deal for $90 with free shipping. Got it into shop and assembled. It felt good to not have the arm brace in the way. Need to test washer today. Get it into the cellar use it to clean floor. Then leave it there of the winter.
Annual Medicare Wellness checkup today. Lots of questions to answer. Why I don't know. I get up every morning.

Randy, hope you feel better. Hope it's not the flu. Dr. yesterday thought I needed a something for muscle relaxer/pain. I had a upset stomach all night form it. Back to Tylenol and Ice Machine tonight. Harvey was right. That Ice Machine sure makes the pain manageable.

Drew, Hope you get your car back soon. Your avatar looks good to me. Even with the snake.

Mostly, I may have aged a little since photo was taken. But my hair is still the same color. Sideburns and mustache have more gray in them.

David, going to be a nice piece of concrete when done.

Good Morning All.

Good morning all, 33 going to 41 and mostly sunny. Today the boy turns 51 so today will be a stressful day. He has looked forward to today for weeks but will likely not be able to handle it and spend most of the day in bed. The good part is he will enjoy today for weeks afterward.

Randy, prayers sent, does not sound like fun.

Flash, prayers for your foot.

Prayers for all in need, have a great day. Ed

31 going to 45. Nice sunrise starting to take shape.

Ed, Happy Birthday to the boy. Hope he can enjoy some of it.

Randy hope your insides are doing better...we've heard worse graphics on this thread. :) I've visited the MacArthur Memorial several times. Always admired him.

Ed and Ron, hope your shoulders are better. I've joined you with the shoulder ache that gets me up at 2 or 3am now. Buppies, how's your arm?

Flash, sounds like your accident hurt in 2 ways. Feel better soon.

Cut 3 trees down that were somewhat in the way yesterday. One was a large gum that I'm turning into firewood...the tractor and grapple helped a lot on that one. Just need to split and stack and dry now. Did something for the first time...poured the bottle of oil into the chainsaw tank instead of the one gallon gas can to mix. Guess my mind had wandered. Fortunately caught myself and used a funnel to pour back from the chainsaw tank into the gas jug, then rinsed out the tank with gas for good measure and poured into the jug.

Battery operated chainsaw does not need that oil. But I have not used mine yet to give a review if it's up to the job.
