Haven稚 been able to work last 2 days during the day. Having to pull night shifts. Youngest has the flu. Had to see two doctors yesterday to get the full diagnosis. Then had a useless discussion today with a supervisor of the first doctor. Will no longer use her. Fist diagnosis was for a cold/upper respiratory infection. I understand theyæ±*e all viruses but the flu requires extra prudence especially in a 2 year old with breathing problems already. Second time first doctor missed something. First time she missed a pneumonia in an infant. Doctor rolled his eyes and shook his head when I said I壇 seen a partner nurse practitioner the day before. He heard it in the scope and used X-ray to confirm.
Farmer and wife, I pray for your son and all, to get well and to get some rest. And that it doesn't spread. Viruses are a beeeotch.
RNG, patience is your best friend right now.
Drew, nice shiny new red tractor pic. Even waxed at that. Is the hood metal or the composite type? (not inviting any debates here, just noting an exceptional paint job.)
I went to the deere dealer yesterday. They had a 5055E MFWD cab tractor new, on sale for $32,599, but no FEL. The salesman says deere is making some tractors purposefully at 73 hp to stay under the DEF threshold of 75hp. I am in no market for a tractor. Just want to keep the ones we have in decent shape. Hard to believe but they are both 16 years old now.
The hydraulic part I will hopefully make is just the temporary split band that fills the internal groove to take the piston out. Deere wants $12.+ for a .25 cent part. If I don't turn it on the CNC lathe, I might just print it on the plastic 3D printer. The last time I bought and used one, it got torn up, making it a one time use part. If they made it out of a bit better plastic, it could be re used.
The light of day is just starting to make it's presence known here. 43F here. We turned off the AC. It was 80F yesterday and nice. Today, I will open the blinds and let the sun shine in.
Eric, I hate single lane, blind turns. Especially with people driving fast through them. Can you get the government to proactively clear some of the growth to make things safer? Or is it some growth on your land that you do not want taken down? Can they widen the lane?
Good to hear from FreedomLives, keep the home fires burning over there. Hope the neighbor doesn't like to eat goat meat, if he catches them snacking.
Randy, hope Ellen's migraines subside. They are nasty.
I am feeling much, much better with no pain. I have the appt on the 13th, to take a look see. Thank you all for the concerns.
Ed, I'm praying a bit extra for you and yours this am.
Many of you guys amaze me with your activeness. This must be a large key to long life and happiness.
RIP President Bush 41. A good man. He will be buried in College Station (town where I work) at his library. I used to work "a few stone throws" from the library.
Have any of you been keeping up with the serial killer who may have been responsible for 90 murders....Maybe the only good that could come out of this besides his death sentence, might be some closure for those affected. Apparently he was a rolling stone serial killer, not staying in any place for long.
