Be careful. I did know there was a piece of property in Toronto large enough to have a ATV and a tractor. :D

Sure there is!

I was 8 hrs over last week, so I'm done with work for this week.

Got my new synology NAS working tonight. Disappointed in the security cam app. Only allows 2 without further license. Maybe there is another app, got a lot to learn.

Will get cold for a couple days.

Got my TBN hat and mug that i won last yr.

11 now and going down to 7F. Wind NNW 10 mph. 40% chance of snow. It is snowing now, has accumulated 3" so far.

The furniture van got in and out, no problem. The new couch is real comfortable. I should get many naps on it, IF I can find space with the cats.

The DIL bought new Laz-y-boy chairs for the front room and she didn't like them, so that is when I proposed a new couch. I got one of the chairs and the other one is going into storage for right now. My glider/rocker is going to charity.

As of yesterday the price of regular gas was $1.159/L or $4.38/US gallon in CDN money. It is coming down slowly. A lot slower than it goes up.

I ditched my Suncor stock last month. It didn't make me the profit it had the potential to, but I did not lose on it either.

Other than plowing snow, I have nothing to do today, so I will conserve energy.

Have a good day all

Good morning all, 32 going to 49 and sunny. Was a busy day yesterday, after breakfast we cut the boy's toenails, and that was a huge stress for him. Then after lunch we cut the boys hair and gave him a shower, another huge stress. For both I fed him Fritos and watched for the times we needed to stop and give him a break. For the bath my job is to sing and dance so well that he forgets he is getting a bath. PJ should have been here. :) Then after our lunch I got a hair cut and bath. Later the guy came to inspect the heat systems, needed once a year for our agency. Hope to get to the grocery today.

No TBN stuff here, just a to new.

I often use a hatchet with both hands and have no problem. In shaping handles and the like a hatchet will take off a lot of wood fast and to get a good job I often swap hands.

RNG, go home and find your house not smelling of smoke and that is an order. Hope they lift the ban soon.

Prayers for shoulders and all else that is needed, have a great day. Ed

I thought yesterday was a dull day, but this has it beaten. We are enclosed in mist, which is acting as a barrier to everything except the sound of a crusher munching it's way through a mountain of broken concrete.

Talking of concrete ...

Need to get moving on my project that started as a few bags of Quikcrete for my diesel tanks. By yesterday morning it had grown to a bit over 8 cuyds. By the time I壇 finished walking it off with wife it was 15.4 cuyds.

15.4 cuyds ! Can't imagine what sort of tank base are you making - unless it's ...

good morning all. Very quiet on this property in VA countryside. Got a ride yesterday in a 1931 Model A rumbleseat, that was a first. Took pics of barn finds, two Jag 140s in awful shape, one Vega Cosworth twin cam with Summit Racing stickers all over it. Funny thing is I might have seen this old Chevy race, used to go to Summit Raceway and watch showroom stock cars squeal around the track, way more fun that real sports car.

I was worried about my friend not keeping his house warm enough but zero problems with that, giant old water radiators throughout the house have kept it warm. Best part is he doesn't pay for heat/LNG; Texas Eastern has a big pipeline nearby and the deal for running across part of this property was free LNG for life.
Of course the owner of this place is so rich, six or seven houses all over the world, that free gas is almost humorous. Apparently this property is the last remaining estate still owned by the family of one of our first five Presidents, still at original 2000 acres. I was told that once Monroe was elected President, Jefferson came out here, looked at the place, said you need a new home, and designed this place. The gardens went on and on and on. Five full time people working the place.
Don't have the patch cord to load pics from Apple phone, will wait until I get home.

Headed downtown to little Aldie this morning to check out the car garages of my step brother, he has an Amilcar (French)stored there, among other things. Won't sit in that, I could barely fit into the Model A, not much room inside. Old cars are neat but not all that comfortable.

Then off to my brother's later this morning. They say this Thanksgiving will be the coldest on record for many.
