When you plant out give them plenty of space. I have an orchard (about 60+ trees) planted at about 5m spacing. When the trees grow and the canopy touches take out every second tree. Nuts are only produced where the sun can get on the tree. When the canopy closes over no nuts are produced down the sides.
The blight which wiped out the American cultivar (Castanea dentata) came in from China. Chestnuts can be cooked in the microwave but need to have holes (fork) to allow the steam to escape. Otherwise you'll be cleaning the splatter off the inside of the microwave.

One of my childhood friends is now getting treated for vertigo. He's the one who wants to buy a new boat but won't/can't until he makes sure
he can drive it. They immediately assume inner ear. And then what? He's getting a lot of tests.

Buppies, sorry about the new spot. Every time I get some poison sumac or oak that leaves a real welt and scar I first wonder it it's something worse. Very glad you are getting checked out/looked over regularly. I'm sure your wife has gotten the job of back checker. That I miss...

Just putter after work yesterday,good news Mrs. found my cell phone bad news where she found it.

Not much plan for after work tonight.

I go to dermatologist every three to four months. This one will make going to the bathroom fun

I guess Hokie land is quiet this week...I think I could hear cheering all the way from Norfolk on Saturday.

Sorry about the cancer...I have my semi-annual dermatologist visit today. I know she will pick two spots to shoot, but otherwise I don't have any known problems this time. Has your doctor ever recommended the blue light treatment? Mine has, although I haven't done it. Both of my in-laws have, and recommend.
