Good morning!!!!

Of course we were always calling the front the back and the back the front. We finally had to start calling it the road side or the garage side. The garage side being the front of the house.
I know you got your deliveries at the front gate. Which was the back side of house. Only 1/4 mile away. :D
Forgot, one of the deliveries was at our mailbox. Only USPS is allowed to use it. Amazon has a big problem with their delivery service.

Good morning. Lol on the politics.
70 heading to 90's. Weather people are hedging bets as to rain and fronts moving through. I plan on maybe cleaning some stuff up today and will practice deep breathing techniques when I talk to the dealer about my @!##
MOWER.

lol.

Have a great day all be safe.

69 this morning and headed to 84 today.

It’s my morning to take the kids to school and daycare. But I need more motivation to move. Then to get allergy shots and take cup cakes to the riding arena for the volunteers. They do the riding program during the day for each school who is willing to bring the special education kids. Then back home to walk birds and put new battery in 4-wheeler. Maybe some fence spraying later. Then both kids go riding tonight.

Buppies. How’s the winter weather outlook looking? I have a feeling for cold and snowy, but I have no data to back it up with. Just gut.

Here it’s. You’re burning daylight.

72 earlier while out with the birds. Another humid 95 on tap.

Drop zone looks top notch.

Sheep wagoning all year sounds like an adventure, but might get old, especially in the frozen temps and snow of the Wyoming winter. Must be some tough guys our there doing it.

Farmer, hope you get to save 1 cupcake for yourself. Nice thing you are doing.

71° and very foggy here this morning with forecast for 93° this afternoon.

We finally beat the odds and were blessed with 3/8” of rain Tuesday afternoon and another 1/4” yesterday afternoon. That small amount more than doubled the total rain we’ve had in July and August. Still less than 1” two month total but, every little bit helps. NWS indicates better than 50% rain chances, this weekend thru mid next week.

The “usual suspects”, over on FP, found out that their uncivil, insensitive, behavior had been outed here on Good Morning. They immediately began a congressional investigation to determine who exposed them and the attacks began in earnest. It was amusing to say the least.

Prayers for all, including the FP crew.

“Better get a move on”.

Roy I agree 100 percent they should close the Friendly Politics forum

Careful what you wish for, Buppies.

If FP is closed, where do you suppose those ill tempered misfits will go to vent their vitriol? Here, perhaps?

I don't think any of us would want that, so maybe it's best that FP remains as it is, and the rest of us just leave them to their madness.

RNG hope the van passes with flying colors and you are soon enjoying it

That makes two of us, Buppies.

I've gotten into the habit of reviewing the GPS tracking data at the end of each day. Last night I found that it had been driven for the first time in two weeks, and was in a pretty seedy part of town, well after normal business hours. I sent a text message to the mechanic telling me he didn't want to be out test driving it on a highway at night, and that it was still setting the Check Engine Light. So he missed his smog appointment altogether, and had never even driven it to be able to check to see if the error codes were cleared. Error codes = failed smog. I'll be in town tomorrow and it's time for another Come To Jesus meeting...:banghead::confused3::pullinghair:

". . .two weeks away is September. I hope . . ."

Oh no, you are having problems with your new glasses. Hope this clears it up.

. . . .two weeks away is (in) September. (period) I (pronounced eye, not one) hope . . .

Not the glasses, Don. The second set of lenses is still waiting for pickup at Costco. Friday maybe.

More a problem with cloudy wording me thinks.

But once an engineer, always an engineer I guess.

Better check it carefully for contraband. Don't need any little baggies of white powder showing up.

Good Morning!!!! 58F @ 6:15AM. Sunny. High 79F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Drew, your crystal ball for the smog check was spot on. What does it say for when the darn thing will actually pass?:confused2:

Headed for Lake Tahoe this morning to pick up a microfiche reader and cards for all the old BMW motorcycles. A friend of mine over there used to be a dealer, and he's cleaning out is garage in preparation to moving to a Sun City outside of Portland. Poor Devil.

Then I'll swing by my dear departed riding buddy's widow's place and pick up his collection of old Airhead club magazines. It's rumored to be fairly complete and she's also offered to fix a nice dinner. She's a wonderful cook, so I don't wanna be late...:D

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

Well all mower is coming back with no problem found. Dealer is apologetic and perplexed. So I will have to query you all on this stalling issue under load that only full choke resolves if it appears again. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I already mentioned trade in to them. Just cannot have it die out on me. The walk back to the house is a killer. Lol.

Have a great day all. Into the sweatshop I go......Gatorade in the cooler.....

The low was only 45° this morning. Today is going to be in the high 70's and partly cloudy with some wind. Doesn't look like any chance of rain for next few days.

Going up to neighbors this morning to help him. I'm sure that will be most of the day.

I never looked into the FP. After reading what most say about it, I don't see any reason to.

Hope everyone has a great day.

CWB.

Got a call from oldest daughter yesterday asking if we would mind coming to their house with our travel trailer this weekend instead of camping in NPS campground. They are trying to move to house they are buying (closing on house their are selling before closing on house they are buying, hoping to rent new house until it closes).. They need some help watching the littles while they move... Grand parents can do that. We were able to get a site at local rv campground for tonight so have a good place to stay, the rest of the weekend still unknown at this point, but we will have a place to sleep regardless of where the trailer is parked.

Fall temperatures are here (at least for now).. expected highs in 70s, lows in 40s (was 41F this morning when I checked). I need to end the water timers soon, they are fragile when it comes to freezing.

86, heat index 98 at 10 am. I get most deliveries at the front door unless I remember to specify, UPS takes all the big stuff to the garage if my regular guy is there.

Appointment with arthritis doctor yesterday, everything good as an old fart gets, GP today, gonna get this sinus thing checked out.
Ellen’s daughter and her husband are without water for 2-3 days, we’ll collapsed. She came here to get ready for work this morning. I’m hoping they find some reasonably priced driller.

Have a good one, prayers all.

64°F and cloudy with spotty fog this morning, going up to 82° today.

PJ, 2-1/2 hours to work ! Hope you have a better ride in this morning.

It was much more normal this morning, Eric. Traffic is definitely heavier now than it has been all summer, but my coworkers were happy to see me here on time today.

Drew, my Father used to say "get a move on" all the time, too. I never thought of it as any kind of colloquialism, as I've heard it from a lot of people from a lot of places.

Now, sheep wagon ... that's definitely a new one on me. I knew herders lived a fairly nomadic life, but that wagon is quite interesting.

70°F and .13 inches rain. Wx forecast is giving us a break while next 2 hurricanes for up in the east.

Need to do some generator maintenance today. Maybe even some bush hogging.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Well, instead of closing threads in the normal side of TBN when things go south, they need to trim users instead.....

So what do southerners think of the expression, "when things go south"? Lol
