Got the girls' closet done with bead board and their washer/dryer platform done out in their garage. Felt good dragging all the tools out in the driveway and working all day. Still gotta get the shop setup.

Still managed to shave one of my plastic sawhorses with the circular saw. I swear I looked under there for clearance but still managed to nick it.
That pair is about 20 years old too. Just getting broke in.

Good tip about running the coax and enet in a conduit. I am going to do that.

Have to sharpen the blades on the LP 60" and the JD 42" this week and hit the lawn again next week. It's looking like maybe 3 times a month in the season.

Tomorrow it looks like getting conduit and burying that coax. Can't get into it with the tractor so it'll be me an ol " Manuel Labor" doing it. Not to bad a run and relatively rocky free it appears.

Good evening all. 72F for the start, partly cloudy, calm wind and .2 inch rain. Moderate wind day today, sky would clear off then cloud up, and high temp was 95F. choir practice to start, then mow lawn. Lunch nap and bike maintenance, and change back to the volagi.
Prayers for all.

77 tonight and very humid. 2.5 inches of rain overnight and this morning. Finished the morning off with a severe thunderstorm warning and what appears to be a tornado. EF1 is preliminary reports. Hit the small town my wife is from. Damage was about a mile from her mother and brothers place. It did hit the graveyard her dad is buried in. Missed his headstone by about 100 feet, and left the large oak he is resting under. Took most of the other trees though. Damage to some roofs and railroad from what we could see. Lots of trees down.
Wife found video on Facebook of the touchdown. It was shot in the coal strip pits from the dragline. 2-3 miles away.

More storms expected overnight. Maybe not as bad.

I was really missing my tractor this afternoon when I went to unload the 300# harbor freight tool box on a pallet from the back of my truck. (found a coupon) The plan was to unbox it take all the drawers out lower it off the truck and then reassemble it. As I was on the back of the pickup contemplating how to start some landscapers across the street ask if I need help, you betcha, we unloaded the pallet in 20 seconds and they got a nice tip. Saved me an hour of being in the hot sun.

Mostly gas, today I started my bike training, I signed up for a spinning class. While I'm taking the class I'll refurbish my old triathlon bike and should be ready to hit the road in a month or two. I might even join the bike club. I might need some advice on how and what to replace. The bike has been out of service for 20 years.

LS, I had to chuckle this morning reading a new thread from a guy who wanted to buy a new LS tractor, and didn't know
which model to choose.

To which someone who didn't read the thread all that well then posted a very well written explanation of why the poster was very smart
to choose a GM LS motor, which us motorheads know is one of Detroit's best V8 engines.
Now if the OP wasn't a car guy, I'm chuckling thinking of the expression on his face reading this wonderful writeup on using LS motors for extra power,
with all kinds of question marks floating around in the air about why he needed a hopped up small block in his tractor. He was trying to choose between 20 and 40hp and here's this
guy giving him wonderful info on how to get at least 500....

It's either a great put on or just good reading.
Are you confused with a big V8 engine often?......

And while your wife may beg to differ, general opinion is there never was a bad LS....:D

cooler today, rain tomorrow
errands and weedeating this morning, maybe bush hogging this afternoon.

Wait....you mean my little tractor doesn't have 500 hp? .....I just knew something was wrong....:rotfl::rotfl::duh:

41 right now...bit warmer today going to the upper 70's.
Stopped by Wal-Mart and picked up the gas grill I bought. It came assembled...sort of. Most of the screws were loose . Guess I'll tighten them up this afternoon...

.17 rain over night, much less than expected and today is showers instead of heavy rain. Looks like that storm system fell apart before it got here. Only high of 79 today, much cooler.
Have a long list of rainy day jobs to get cracking on

I'm having great fun making up small baggies of red white and blue/purple potatoes for friends, so they can make patriotic potato salad for July 4th.

I saw a thing somewhere about whipping okra. Take a switch and just go at it, they said it made it produce more. I guess hail would have done the same thing. Ed

Good morning, 67 going to 71 with a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Hvac guy is coming back this morning to check out the attic unit. The fan appears to be very out of balance and it sounds like a helicopter not far away in the boys room. He is not doing well with that. I hope to build a work bench in the garage soon. Have a solid door that I got cheep and will cut it down and cover it with a side of the old AC unit from the attic. Add a vice and it should do well for me.

Prayers for all in need. Have a great day. Ed

Poured first cup of coffee. 49° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 82° with mostly sunny skies. Injection in shoulder had some side effects. Only slept about 2 hours. But had no pain. It was like drinking 32 oz of coffee every 2 hours. Never got to install bins in drawers yesterday. Going to work on that some today. Then cut lawn close to house. Grass is growing fast. Trip to Menards to pickup a 4X4 PVC post sleeve I ordered. May get it installed on wood light post I put up several weeks ago, today.

Prayers for all those in need.

Good Morning All.
