Productive day. Managed to get the remaining shop area cleaned up.
Not a lot of space, but with most Tools Mounted on castered dollies they can be maneuvered to gain appropriate space. Still need to finish sort and purge of fasteners etc, but holding off for arrival of organizers.
Tomorrow I can start in the main part of garage.

A major challenge for me is cutoffs. Just what size piece of material is worth saving???? To me if it’s a 12” 2x4 and then I pick up a piece 10.5 inches, it sure looks tempting. I just hate to waste something potentially useful. But I made the hard decision, dumped an almost full FEL bucket into my hole and promptly covered with dirt. Opinions?

So how do you know when it's your wifi gear, and not your provider? I figure if the signal is strong, then it's your provider.
In our case it was when we were first setting it up and trying to update the firmware, it didn't want to take nor setup properly. If the wifi signal goes in and out a lot, and you do not have any signal with wired either, but you do if you directly off the modem, then it's the router.

Great pic Ed.
I don’t know anything about a mill so I will be interested in what you can make with it.

My new Sony tv is sending me a i message every time I turn it on and it won’t go away, it says “now tuning” I don’t know what it means or how to resolve it. The volume and muteing are disabled. Could it be from the microcell? IMG_2063.JPG

Good evening to everyone! Got up to a high of 94 today, super dry, ultra low humidity at an unbelievable 4%....is that even possible? No rain in the forecast, only getting hotter mid week to near 100.

Ed, congrats on the mill and lathe. Oh, also congrats on having such a nice wifey! I will be waiting patiently to see the first 'sanity project' now that you know how to post pics!

Lenny, your place is beyond nice, it's beautiful! Congrats and hope you're getting settled in without much trouble.

RonJ, you also have a postcard perfect place! ...can you ship me some of the green grass and also some rain?

Drew, strange affects going on with that corn... :scratchchin:You weren't near Eric's place by any chance?...maybe alien experiment?.... you're probably too far away from Don's transmogrifier to get any effect...:hypnodisk: the one on the far right looked pretty tasty...:D

Randy, did you just crash that anniversary party? Or did Ellen know them? Sounds like fun either way!:drink:

Kyle, glad to hear that you guys have greened up down there. We're still really dry as can be...I'm starting to think I'm living in Pheonix or Tuscon....or maybe the freaking Mojave....

Tomorrow morning I go back to the ortho doc, I'm sure he's going to stick another big arz needle into the knee and pull off a bunch of fluid. It's been really swollen, but surprisingly not much pain. We'll see...

Everyone have a peaceful evening and a great start to the week! Prayers out for everyone.

Got some seat time on the tractor using the PHD. Set some of the 'cut off' 3' fencing along the property line where I had taken down the neighbor's misaligned field fence. Went pretty well, dirt was dry and hard as concrete a few inches below the silty dust. We are now dry and hard after baking in the sun!:hot::friedegg: We were able to get about halfway done. Not a real hard job, just time consuming. Wore ourselves out, will be an early night for sure:yawn::zzz:

So how do you know when it's your wifi gear, and not your provider? I figure if the signal is strong, then it's your provider.
I have 3 networks in my house. Internet is provided by my AT&T Mobley (1), connected as a modem to an upstairs router(2). My Netgear router(3) is in the basement, connected downstream from it. The Netgear has the strongest signal, and is my primary network. When it misbehaves, i can just switch to another network and still have internet service. Reboot netgear, it again functions.

Had satellite internet before ATT internet, Netgear was my only router than, and it did same thing. I have upgraded firmware multiple times.

David, I too, kept every last scrap down to about 6". Finally cleared out just about everything less than 2' now. I'm much happier getting around the shop. I was even keeping the scraps like the pieces (3/4" x 1/4" x 6') off of ripped boards....not any more, and I'm much happier about it. It was very hard to break myself of the habit of keeping all the scraps. :dance1:

Now, I'm working on putting tools right back in their place as soon as I am done with them. Another difficult habit to break! I'm probably 70/30 with putting things where they belong right away. That's ok I guess.

I still have a bit of final organization to do after building the new garage / tractor house / shop. It was coming together, but then the knee problem happened. Right now 3/4 of the building has 2 full bunks of 2x4's, a full bunk of plywood, and about a 1/2 bunk of misc 2x6's, 8's, 10's, and 12's, most 12 or 16' long. I have to climb over them just to get to the compressor to turn it on. All my wrenches and 'automotive tools' are also on the other side of the lumber. A lot of tools were supposed to go over to that side, but right now it's way too much trouble to try and organize it fighting to get over all the lumber. My welders and metal saws are buried behind the lumber, under a workbench....didn't think of them when I put the lumber in there!:confused2:

The main side is pretty accessible, and getting close to at least a chaotically organized. :cool2:

Oh, David, forgot to mention about the awesome polished tool cabinet....is that old or a newer piece? Haven't seen one like it for a long time...
