Good morning!!!!

The early Thursday morning breathing problems call we went out on did not come out as well. Once you go down in a county without a hospital your chances of survival go down.
Glad you are feeling better.

That’s the down side of deeper country living, though I love it.

Good morning all. The weather is playing mind games this morning, I had it all planned out for the predicted dry day and then was woken by the rain on the roof. The clouds offer little clue about what is coming next, they have a will-it-wont-it look about them that almost guarantees whatever I do now will have been the wrong decision by the end of the day. :confused3:

At least I managed to pump a fair amount of water into the underground water tank yesterday. The ground up by the little pond was just firm enough to get the generator near enough without the Iseki sinking up to it's axles. For this first fill I was using a Tsurumi LB 480 water pump, which was filling it nicely at a rate of about 40 gal/minute until the generator started to cough after a couple of hours - I hadn't put in enough petrol. If a ewe with twin lambs drinks 1.5 gallons per day on a hot day and the field has 30 ewes, someone good at both maths and weather forecasting will be able to tell me what date I need to think of refilling again.

Thanks for the info on the zero turns, I can understand the appeal of joystick controls a little better now, although having said that, I don't find mowing the lawn with a wheel steered machine hard work at all - my wife does it ! :)

That sounds a great day out riding Mostly, I bet sleep came very quickly last night.

Are these Imperial gallons? :)

Happy anniversary Bird and wifey.

Prayers for Randy, Rip and wifey, and those who need them.

I was in Bird's area last night. Went to American Flat track races at Texas Motor Speedway's dirt track. The track was in sorry condition for motorcycles. Too many ruts down low, and too dished to provide a wide "groove". But we had a good time. Got home at 2 am this morning. Tired today. Absolute couch potato.

So many tasks that will have to wait...

Have a blessed day all. One day at a time.

Kyle, I've driven by the Texas Motor Speedway many, many times, including this afternoon when we went to our daughter's to visit, but I've never been to any of the races there.

Put up both my motion sensor lights.
The direct wire replaced the next to the door lantern style which quit working, just flickered was even with new bulb. While perhaps not stylish the light definitely seems brighter.

2nd is a solar version and at the entrance to my Tractor shed. Mounted just over the primary door and solar panel moved to edge of the roof. Not as bright as the direct wire but plenty bright.

Both may need adjustment after dark.

As got the Little Giant Megamax ladder on sale at Costco yesterday. I have 2 no name brand that I’ve had for years, both being very helpful when we built the house. While still functional they are in somewhat rough shape, but suitable for exterior use. The locking mechanisms stick and get bathed in WD40 regularly. The new one will be my inside ladder. It got it’s baptism today when used to clean windows and screens that are on the table end of kitchen about 13’ from floor.

Do much more on my iPad then my laptop anymore, even more than the iPhone. When I find my finger tips to be problematic I’ve found the Apple Pencil to be great.

I remember Peter Gunn from around the early 60’s.

Long day. I delivered the sermon at worship this morning. Then went to a memorial service for a friend who died from bladder cancer (my age). Service was at a church we attended in 1980s before moving away, so still a few friends there to catch up with. Then hr back to our pm service. Longest I've worn a suit in a long time.

Good evening all. 56F this morning clear, calm. Wind picked during day gusts 15+ in afternoon, sky stayed clear and high 84F. Chapel this morning, made breakfast putter till Stepdaughter left, put wife's new pedal toe clips on her bike. very low keyed day.

Rick not so good at fund raising, and have scheduling conflict with our VFD next event at Frisco.

LS I do get restless, but rarely have trouble sleeping.

Ron most of the hills are away from Muenster, drive home on 82 is very flat. When you are 3 or 4 miles north or south, differnet story

Mostly, I had no idea of what part of Texas you’re located. Guess a Houston - Austin Ride wouldn’t make sense. The Company I retired from always fields a huge Team. I’ve always taken the easy ride ... by sponsoring a rider or two.

36 right now...high in the low 50's with a pretty good possibility of rain with snow mixed.

Only a couple of degrees above freezing this morning, with a stiff breeze bringing a chilly end to the month. Options for the morning are either to get blasted by a north easterly wind while preparing more brickwork for pointing, or to harrow over the drier parts of the fields where the cow muck was spread. A nice warm tractor cab may just have a slight edge in deciding that one.

My phone woke us both up at first daylight twice at the weekend. I couldn't see what it was the first time, but the glare from wife made me look harder the second time it happened. It turns out the TBN app on my Android phone had defaulted to push notification and was sending things at ludicrous times. Maybe it's the update that changed the settings, did anyone else get a TBN alarm call ?

Good morning all, 44 going to 68 and the low this morning was supposed to be 31, don't think it will make it. Need to run some paper work in this morning and get some groceries, then drop a payment off at the bank. Then eat breakfast and see what the rest of the day brings.

Prayers for those in need. Ed

Cool morning, about 40 going up to 70 today, another gorgeous bright blue day.
Headed downtown like Ed to do a little food shopping, then home to work outside.
Will try to do another section of corn, my 1/16 at a time. No way I can do this 14 more days...hmmm, need a helper I think.
Huge amount of weeds, what you get when you use zero chemicals.

I stand out there in the middle of the field and really can picture myself 200 years ago doing exactly the same thing.
Except I would be younger and faster then...;)

Need to do the ten hour oil change on the Kubota mower today, then I'm going to change the oil on the Kubota tractor too, picked up filters yesterday for the job. First time parts guy gave me a 30 dollar air filter. I handed it back and said wrong filter, just by price. He looked at me, and then said, oh, you have the HSTC3 model (emphasis on 3) which takes a different filter, apparently higher quality since the right filter is 70 bucks. Kubota sure does jam those air filters in tight spaces, not easy to get end cap off and pulling the filter out.

Hope you all have a great week. Toppop, hope you feel better this morning and hope all bad knees, backs and hips improve for those that need to.

39 going to about 70, 90 later this week, maybe I can finally plant the flowers, I’m a month later than normal.

Still not sleeping normally but getting there. Gotta call doc for follow up today.
Now Ellen is sick, but sinus infection not my crap.

Went to church, lunch, visit all parents, ended up an all day event. Not sure what it takes to get a day with nothing to do. Not sure I really want one!
