Sitting in a coffee shop in Harpers Ferry WV, drove northeast from Front Royal VA. Never been here before cool place.

You are in the neighborhood.. It is nice there. I havent been downtown in yrs, but we hike and bike across the river on the c&o towpath. You can walk across river on the train bridge.

No root canal! Just a permanent filling where the tooth had a tiny crack and hopefully that will be all that's necessary. I took the day off from chores, anyway.

My dentist wants to crown mine because of a crack.
I have several crowns already, a royal mouthful.......

Harper's Ferry is a neat place to visit. I've been there several times, including once in the late 1950's or early 60's before it was restored. At that time, it was basically just as it was after the Civil War.
There's a spot up by the railroad tracks that you can stand in three states (MD, VA and WV) in one place...don't know if you saw that, but if you go again...do that. If you get on Route 15 North, you go right to Antietam...continue further north on 15, you end up at the Gettysburg battle field. This is a great day trip, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
BTW, if you get hungry on the way, stop at the Old South Mountain Inn near Antietam for some chow.

Good evening all. 44F this morning, light breeze, mostly clear sky. Sky stayed clear, wind did not blast today, and high temp was 68F. This morning did some consulting, went with wife to Sanger, and got BBQ for lunch . Bike ride this afternoon, no nap.

What a treat it was yesterday to be able to finally get on the grass without making too much mess and harrow the hay field. With a clear sky it was easy to see the shadows of a pair of buzzards circling above the tractor, following me up and down for the first hour until they had eaten too much to do any more soaring.

Freedom, the smile at the very end of your video says many things without a single word :-
aren't FELs great - phew, nothing went wrong - 4 in 1 buckets are really neat - I have a wonderful wife.

20 and going to a high of 43F. Wind N 11 gusting to 17 mph. FINALLY! Temps are over the freezing point.

Maybe now we can have spring and I can get some stuff done. Included in that 'stuff' is pull the snow banks away from the house. That will be todays job.
The 5 loads of pit run (5" minus) gravel will cost me about $1,000.oo cash. The loads will weigh somewhere around 18 to 20 ton each. I can't/won't get them until after the half load season is over. (24 May at the earliest) That will give me a very small 'window' to get it spread before I go back to work. ullinghair:

Major Bummer. We actually got a frost here...White Roof Of Death on my truck this morning.
Will quickly melt but a real blast of cold clear air now in this area.

Randy, have a piece of shoo fly pie in Lancaster. It's not my favorite but what a great name.

Have been trying hard to be good and not go to fast food for breakfast,
or worse, the greasy spoon 1/2 mile away, and instead eat lowfat yogurt and a hardboiled egg
for breakfast. And a banana usually. Never lasts though.
Now half a left over cheeseburger, oh yeah...

I should take an orange out with me in the morning and have that mid morning.
