Ed- My deepest sympathies, prayers, + thoughts and wishes for your Mom, you, your wife, and family. Her challenges with living are over. The transition is spiritual. She is at peace. My she rest in peace and live on forever in the memories that she created.

It got cold again, 4* this morning. Yesterday was partly cloudy and windy and in the mid 30's. Today is going to be a little warmer in the mid 40's with more sun and wind.

Didn't get the snow moved yesterday, ended up going to Rock Springs with the neighbor. He was going to buy some parts for a side by side he is going to sell but the dealer was closed. He said that he didn't know that they were closed on Sunday's and Monday's.

I'll go out when it warms up and do the driveway.

Dont know, I'm trying to figure out the sudden jump in gas prices, went up $.50 in last week.

The domestic US oil industry has complained about the upcoming (or actual) steel tariffs-- much of the pipes and such they need aren't even made in the US at all.

For probably some concerns over foreign policy the gold price in USD spiked Fri-Mon, and the exchange rate sunk in comparison to the Euro. Apparently there was fear of "trade wars" and now that fear has eased.

So it may be altogether that the fuel companies were assuming a weaker USD and higher prices. I guess hold off filling up the tank and see if the prices don't ease back down this week.

Tried pulling limbs and such, wasn't so succesful and it seems clamping down on a log managed to bend the bucket:

Looks like your bucket is missing some welds.
Looked at other picture. Your bucket opens at the spot where bend is.

Good morning guys. Went in this morning and held mom's hand while she passed from this world and went to heaven. Very peaceful. Ed

You certainly have my sympathy. I did the same thing with my mom 12 years and 25 days ago.
