Good morning,
18 and going to a high of 34. Wind N 16 mph. 30 % chance of flurries and it is snowing right now and has been all night.

I will go out and plow today for sure.

I found me a new welder yesterday and will contact him today to see if he wants to weld an extension on my rear blade so I can swing it to the side (1 hole more than what is there) and still get a 45* angle for cutting back the banks. I also want a couple of brackets on the blade so I can put a piece of railway track on it for more weight.
I have a home made (not by me) V plow that was for a Farmall A that I had got for my C and never put on it, so now maybe he will weld a SSQA on it so I can use it on the Kioti. Just need to extend the sides to clear my front tires.

You guys getting the heart attack snow, take it easy and let the machines do the work. A gallon or so of fuel is way cheaper than a HA!

daugen are you implying that today is your birthday? If so many happy returns!

The rest of you take it easy anyway, life is too short to be working your azz off

Next project up is saving to replace windows and interior doors up stairs. The previous owner rented this house for a while and they tore up things pretty good. The only thing remaining on the first floor is one fixed window and the fireplace. Getting prices now allow us to budget for future renovations

31F now couple more degrees will be high for today.
Snow shovel in hand at 4am clear path steps etc.,little after 5pm plowing 9" of snow than Mrs. ask for ride to work... interesting ride to say the least.
After work clean shed and house roofs re shovel paths etc.,hope to remove plow until next week according to Buppies.

L4N, extension of the bracket part with holes or extension of the whole blade?
you're looking for an extra sharp angle right?

I have a Top 'N Tilt for my Kubota but even that wouldn't increase the angle, though it does increase other angles...
Would be neat to have about six hydraulics out back and be able to change all the angles
with a little lever, including hydraulically adjustable lower links. In and out as you need.
Perhaps I'm dreaming...

An extra hole on the bracket part AND more holes for the swing on the blade.
That way I can wing/cut the banks back further. I have lots of 1/2" plate for the job.

28 right now. Snow showers predicted for the day. Sun is trying to peak thru the clouds though. Expecting wind and drifts to form for the rest of the day also.

Temp warmed up from 25-28 overnight, still cold and blustery.
Got some cleaning done on the Monte Carlo, went to see mom and had a 2 hour 27 minute call with Ellen, after an hour of texting. She told me in no uncertain terms that we are too old to beat around the bush. If I want a relationship with her that she wants it all, romance, excitement and adventure. We both had it before and shouldn’t expect less of ourselves.
Once I recovered I invited her over Friday night and bring overnight provisions. She accepted. Not sure what I’m getting into! LOL
