Are you watching current news? I believe you may be watching some from last July when that C-130 broke apart in flight.....truly a tragedy

geez, yeah probably, they make it look live just to suck you in.
sorry, same sentiments hold
I'll be more careful...

I rode up to Georgetown and looked at the cars, they didn’t excite me. Waiting on the rain to get here.

Only 60°F and no rain, but it sure is good to be back home. Perhaps the best part of a trip. The fur kids sure seemed glad to see me.
Still a lot of catching up to do.
Have to retrieve mail from PO today.
And get over this crud.
Be safe
Have a great day.

Good Morning!!!! 56F @ 9:15AM. Mostly sunny. High near 65F. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph.

Burn ban's been in effect the past several days due to the lack of rain. It doesn't apply to campfires, though. It was a very nice, calm evening yesterday and with the wood pile all dried out I enjoyed a campfire for a few hours. Oak and manzanita lights easy when it's dry, and it felt good sitting outside with just a t-shirt for a change.

CWB, you may end up saving a marriage by helping that poor husband friend of yours find all his stuff when he comes back.

Don't give up, Randy. With Christmas bills and taxes on everyone's mind, there will be more and more cars on the market as we head into spring.

Should have another batch of motorcycle parts delivered this morning, so it's another garage day. Yesterday I worked on a couple ball bearing and spring detents that were missing. I was able to get one of the balls staked back into its hole, but the material around the edge of the other hole was missing. Ended up having to make a tiny shouldered sleeve, drilling out the old hole, and epoxying the whole mess back together. Since it was under spring tension, the chuck on the lathe is holding it in place against the spring tension, and I dare not try to take it out until tomorrow so the epoxy has a good chance to set up. Be glad when that one's over.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

[QUOTELooking at a new ford 150 with the 3.5 turbo any recommendations][/QUOTE]

I don't know about any valid recommendation, but IF I were going to buy a new pickup, that's what I'd want.

Looking at a new ford 150 with the 3.5 turbo any recommendations last ford I owned was an 83 Bronco drove it for 23 years.

My son has a 2018 with that engine. Likes it. 4wd crew cab. Even got the auto back up. Pulls better than his 2013 Chevy V6 with 2wd. He pulls a car trailer with his Shelby Mustang on it.
