Good evening all. 69ºF for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Light to moderate wind, brisk gusts, partly cloudy sky, rain to north, and high temp was 88ºF. Cold front to come through this weekend. Made coffee to start, office work, bike ride, mow back yard and found 4 balls, put off town trip, nap, got truck wipers changed out.

Coffee is brewing. 44° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 71° with sun and a few clouds. Yesterday I cleaned up the metal mailbox post and sprayed it will primer. Later today will spray it with black paint. That about it for today. I am sure I will find something else before the day is over.

whole new world out there in online advertising, new rules, and we have for many
years enjoyed the friendship and fun of a totally free site. If there are some restrictions, ok,
just don't think this is the venue for some free speech discussion. I consider myself an invited guest and will
act accordingly. We have an intelligent owner who understands the issues and needs to work through this.

we need rules, folks try to break them here all time, injecting religious and political ideology in avatars and discussions.
I can't see where what we discuss in GM is negatively affected by moderator rules.
without those rules, I would not likely be here since I don't do well with nasty rude people.
I'm happy with some rules and civility. And where sensibly needed, compromise.

Good Tractor Morning Steve,

Been a long time I do not use it as it was boring to me.

I think it will prove the same to me but like anything else I need to try it and understand it

I know a lot of my CW friends have a picture of a guy sitting in front of a wall on their QRZ page, with a FT8 sign and a circle with a line drawn through it. . My real love is CW, and I don’t see that changing I actually got the manual out on my Yaesu yesterday and made 2 SSB contacts. One on 40m and one on 20m. I bumped the power up to 100w, I normally run 50w when running POTA or portable. Just wanted to make sure it was working. Have a good day Steve

Good Tractor Morning,
Ct, 48 to start going to 60. Went out to get the paper at 5am and I could faintly see the moon through the clouds, so hopefully most of the rain and unsettled weather has gone by.

This week is Fire Prevention week here and my grandsons want me to come to their school on the fire truck. So I need to be at the FD prior to 9 am. Don’t want to disappoint my grandsons .

Still trying to weed through the junk in the attic, not easy when the wife is asking me why are you throwing that out She is the one that wanted me to start this project

Looks like work on Thursday this week and then head to the Vermont mountains Thursday night.

Not much else going on, hope all have a blessed and safe day

THis word censureship has got to stop. I thought this was america, land of the free, home of the brave, not some friggin 3rd world country with a dictator.

It's always fun when people confuse freedom of speech with freedom from consequences. I remember having to explain the difference to an employee, when they were fired for something they said, and they tried claiming "freedom of speech!"

Sure, you're free to say it, and you won't land in jail. But a site (or employer) also isn't forced to host speech they or their customers might consider inappropriate. The customers of this site are the advertisors, and the moderators are always going to be mindful of things that could potentially offend those customers.

And in case you don't understand where you fit in: You're the product!

Good morning TBN! In the lower 40s here this am and predicted to hit 51 today. Our kind of weather! We are watching the weather and will go to Camp Covington if it looks reasonably dry over the weekend so I've been organizing items that are needed there. Dearest took the day off yesterday and put things away or sold items, from her now deceased folks. House is still a mess of things from that, but with this new-found camp, we are distracted from that job. Looks like we will get some rain here starting on Thursday.
