DABSGT- I am sorry to read about your frozen plumbing. Too bad about the "most of the ice" part. Chopping and breaking up ice is some of the more "painful" of Wintertime exertions. Good luck. This Sunday/Monday weather event should ultimately drop some rain on your area. I do not think there is a lot of moisture with this system. And then and keeping in pattern will be the "freeze up" as the storm kicks out and more ice with which to deal. Thanks for the travel wishes.
We'll see how TSA responds to my daypack/carryon. I warn them beforehand that I have "sharps." To the scanner people they see a black daypack with laptop and inside lots of syringes, gel pack, vials, pill cases, the electronics and cables and wires for the electronics. I bet they give it a second look. I have some "hardware;" sometimes the detector goes off; sometimes it does not. I really appreciate what the TSA agents have to go through. I thank every TSA agent with whom I interact. I do not mind the occasional "probing" and "shakedown;" TSA is trying to keep me safe.
Packed and ready to roll. We have been living on leftovers. The refrigerator is looking pretty empty. Tomorrow we may have a couple of inches of snow as we head out. It will probably be raining in CT. We leave Monday early AM and the weather system should be long gone.. No biggie. The last time that we did this we left in a blizzard. They were de-icing the plane for a long time. We were the last plane out that day.
Kyle- I hope that your daughter is OK.
RIP and Bird I share DABSGT's concerns.
